I was so nervous to meet with Dr. Feng for my consultation because of past interactions with doctors. When I stepped on that scale and saw what I weighed before Dr. Feng came in the room I just wanted to run out. To my surprise and delight, he didn’t bat an eye at that huge number. He didn’t berate me, or belittle me. Dr. Feng was concerned for me with such a high BMI but wasn’t judgmental. He talked with me for over 2 hours about the different WLS that were available and answered every one of my questions. I felt totally as ease with him. I decided to have the VSG. My surgery took an hour and went smoothly. Dr. Feng spoke with my family right after the surgery and made them all feel at ease and comfortable. His bedside manner in the hospital was wonderful and I felt taken care of. Dr. Feng really stresses aftercare. I can see him every month for an office visit if I wanted to and he runs the monthly support group I attend. He is always available to answer questions through email and phone calls. He certainly makes me feel like I am important and that makes all the difference in the world. I would highly recommend Dr. Feng to anyone I know!

Dr. Foster is wonderful! Hands down she is the best at what she does! I would and have recommended her to several people. She is very informative, incredibly supportive, extremely knowledgeable, and eager to answer my questions. In fact, she never hesitates to answer any of my questions and even if I don't have an appointment she takes time out of her busy day to help me. Her staff is exceptional as well. I really appreciate everything that her and her staff have done for me.

Wow! I was talking to the Dietitian re: the ThinnerFuture website and she told me there was an opening in the afternoon with Dr. Foster if I would be willing to meet with her instead of Dr. Wetter. I jumped at the opportunity. I didn't have any paperwork done at the time, but with a little help from the office staff and Donna the dietitian, everything worked out fine. I didn't feel prepared enough, I didn't have my long list of questions for the surgeon with me...I was nervous. I finally met with Dr. Foster and although she is definitely no-nonsense, I felt very comfortable with the fact that she was there to help me. She made me aware of the long road ahead of me. I have a lot of pre-op work to do, but I am finding that it is the true test to ensure that I am really ready to make this drastic change in my life. Dr. Foster let me know that the surgery is a "tool" but the hard work has to come from me. The realization that there is no "cure all" hit me hard, but I am glad she was frank with me and set me straight...on the path to "change".

Dr Wetter is a real professional in this field. I found him to be easy to talk too and he took the time to explain things to me about my own issues. I had a lap band done in Mexico 2 years ago that was faulty and had to be replaced. Then when it was I had problems affording the fills. It just did not work for me. He took the time to explain why the band would not work as well as the GBP in my personal case.

He was not a "chit chattter", which was fine for me. I went to him becasue I wanted someone who was an expert in their field...the most important part of this entire experience, was done when I was out cold...and that's when Dr. Wetter really does his thing. He had to remove my band then do the GPB.

This surgery was virtually painless for me as was the entire recovery. I followed his directions to a T. That is important for anyone deciding to do this. I trust him and his expereince and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants an expert to do this important surgery. He has a wonderful reputation amoung his peers and my cadiologist referred to him as the "Guru" who is doing some really good work!

First of all, Dr Legha is now with Camino Medical Group, Sunnyvale, Ca (as of late 2005.) I just met him today and 1st impression was he is very compitent, he wants each of his pts to succeed and he is implementing classes and support groups and provides a WLS "bible" (soon to be available) to each client. He explains everything very well and by the end of the appt I did not have any questions. He was a down to business guy w/specific questions and no room for small talk left, but I did not fell rushed. Also, he was very adamant about aftercare, he and CMG's endocrinologist follow you carefully for 5yrs. The staff at Camino Medical Group is very courteous. I really liked him ( I thought I would not really be comfortable w/a male, but it was no problem.) To me, both bedside manner and surgical competence are equally important.

Dr Foster is friendly and informative. She discussed the risks of surgery thoroughly. Her office staff are very helpful and efficient.

She places a good emphasis on after care and demonstrates that she cares about her patients with her general demeanor.

I would and have recommended her to several friends.

She seems competent and is frank in her discussions of complications that her patients have experienced. She does not seem threatened by questions.

Some of my friends have chosen Dr. Foster with equally good results. I couldn't be happier with the service and care I received from her staff and personally from her.

Dr. Wetter is a really nice person. He has a great staff. Yvette was very helpful getting the insurance to get in gear! I guess what I like least is that I feel a little rushed in visits, but he is busy! Future patients should know that he is strict, NO CARBS! I would rate him pretty high as surgeons go. I had NO complications at all! The hospital is wonderful.

Dr. Foster is wonderful. At my first meeting with her, she was very detailed in her description of what the surgery would involve, including possible complications as well as available resources in her office and at the hospital in regards to support groups and care after the surgery. She is very serious about how important this surgery is, but at the same time she is supportive and easy to talk to. She definitely expects you to give your best effort and has monthly follow-up appointments between when you start seeing her and when she schedules the surgery. Her staff is nice and Yvette is VERY helpful with scheduling and getting preapprovals from the insurance carriers. I would highly recommend Dr. Foster.

Dr. Foster is very nice. I felt completely relaxed with her. She took a lot of time with my husband and me. She made sure we understood all aspects of the process from pre-op testing to post-op life.
She doesn't beat around the bush, is very blunt about what she expects from the patient.
After further visits to her office, I am still absolutely pleased with Dr. Foster and her staff.
2/7/06 Almost 2 years post op and I still think the world of Dr. Foster. If I ever have a question, all I have to do is call or email. I still have to go in for check ups, yearly. She still cares about every aspect of my post op life. She is also my biggest cheerleader! Her staff is wonderful-always encouraging and supportive. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Foster to anyone who is SERIOUS about wls. Don't bother making an appointment to see her if you are not completely serious about taking care of yourself and following directions.

Dr. Wetter has been fantastic! He's exuberant, helpful and obviously a very skilled surgeon! I picked him out for his experience not knowing what to expect of him as a person. Now that I'm post op I can't say enough good about him. My surgery was positively smooth sailing for me and I know it's because he's so good at this.

His staff (Donna and Yvette especially) are a wonder. How they get so much done and still manage to give you a smile and call you back everytime you call is beyond me but THANK YOU!! And Yvette... special kudos to you for working through a tough insurance mess.

By the way... he's easy as pie to deal with - just do what he asks and all will go well - especially the pre-surgery weight loss! He asked me to spread the word - here I am spreading it 'round! Thanks again Dr. Wetter!!
