The nursing care is outstanding at this hospital. The Surgical team - is the BEST!!!! The one thing I would offer to anyone having inpatient surgery - Get a parking pass for $25/wk. It will save you money in the long run. They dont advertise it anywhere but the parking attendents know about them and will assist you. Otherwise for 4 days - family members will spend alot more than that if they come to visit you everyday....especially if they wait for you during surgery. They really should offer this more readily.... and alert the doctors offices for patients who are more than a day or so inpatient!!
Otherwise - Very clean hospital - friendly staff.....well marked directions. Would definitely choose this hospital again!!!

The staff was excellent, each and every one of them, my one and only complaint was that for 2 nights someone cleaned the floor, repolished or whatever it was right outside my door, which made a lot of noise and the fumes from the polish made me nausious.

I had a good experience except for lack of sleep due to the vitals checks, and other protocols.

what a wonderful place to have surgery.....from the pre testing to the surgery. what a professional, warm, friendly group of people. this is not the first place i looked to have wls but once i met my doctor and the staff there.....i knew i was in the right place.

My stay was excellent. The nurses on Usen 6 were amazing, and all were very experienced w/gastric bypass patients. They were very responsive and told me to call them for ANYTHING. I had a previous bad experience w/nurse care at another hospital and this experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend Newton Wellesley!
