I felt that I was left to my own accord. No one came to get me out of bed. I took off the leg pressure cups and walked myself. I also was given the breathing thingy and told do it. No other instructions or follow up to it being done. I am glad I had the surgery before so I knew what I needed to do since the nurses didn't seem to care.
From the time I checked in for my surgery until the time I checked out, everyone was professional, kind and concerned with my well-being. At every step the staff explained what would be happening. They were also very gracious to my husband and kept him informed. I cannot imagine a better experience!
