King's Daughters Medical Center (COE) Hospital
I actually had two surgeries pretty close together. What the others are saying about the nursing staff of the bariatrics floor is very true. There are only a few good ones who make you feel like they actually care about you. The night staff was the worst, you could lay there and die and it would take hours for someone to come and help you. It was the worst care I had received and their response time was horrible. Maybe other parts of the hospital would be different but on that floor there really needs to be a lot of improvement made in the way the nurses treat their patients. Jill was a very good nurse, only because she was one of my best friend's sister and she knew me from a long time ago.
The general staff was really caring and accomodating with the exception of the night nurses on duty my entire stay. I have never had such little care or sense of urgency in a hospital my entire life! It was so bad I would seriously have to rethink going back to King's Daughters. I plan on reporting my night nurse to the Nursing Director next week.
