Jupiter Medical Center Hospital
All rooms at this hospital are private, which is nice. There is a special Bariatric unit for WLS patients. Dr. Vaughan's cooridinators have an office on this wing which was nice when you had questions the nurses couldn't help you with. They have Bariatric gowns, beds and wheelchairs, which made me feel lots more comfy. There was room for my mom to stay there with me which was nice.
I stayed two weeks at the hospital due to complications. I was generally impressed with the nurses knowledge and care. However since there are several shifts I did have about two nurses who worked with me who I would have to say seemed to know very little about me and my condition. However, I would have to say that my overall experience at this hospital was enjoyable considering the circumstances. I guess I should add that Jupiter Medical is set up with it's own wing to handle bariatric patients. Everyone gets their own private room which is a huge benefit!!!
