Hospital Angeles Hospital
I had a gastric plication and I am doing well. I only lost 20 pounds.
The hospital is clean and very nice. The president is a lady from Sweden or Austria? The walk in marble shower in my room was nice. It is a hospital where people go there from all over, Canada, etc. Top surgeons, save money. Take Care Mary a teacher at lynwood Hs.
The only "negative"... which isn't even really a negative, is that some of the staff spoke no English and some of the nurses spoke little or broken English. I understand that we were in Mexico, however, I expected the communication to be more effective considering their advertising to US patients. I had to call my Spanish speaking friends in Florida to tell the nurses when I was in pain or wanted to take a shower. Otherwise, it was great.

I had a few moments where things weren't quite up to what I expected but overall, I didn't feel unsafe or in danger, and I was nervous because my friends had all thought I was nuts going to Mexico. My issues were things like hygiene of the phlebotomist (dirt under nails and no gloves) I asked for a new phlebotomist when he couldn't find a vein after several painful pokes. A nurse used my bar of soap and washed her hands in my bathroom. Just a few little things like that bothered me. Also, my surgery went very long because of a complication and they did not let my husband know what was going on and he freaked. My experience with this type of situation at home in US is that a nurse would be sent to update the loved one.
