Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Bariatrics Hospital
So far everything has gone very well, starting with the seminar through the office visit and the office worked with me to get insurance approval. Surgery set in 2 months. Impressed so far with Dr. Kharbutli and attended a support group and talked to a couple of his patients who already did the surgery and they are doing great.
Will update.
I attended his Seminar and was very informative and detailed and he answered all the questions. I called and went for the consult and was impressed, very good, took his time and listened, very detailed. Met with his Dietician on the same day. Still need to finish the weight loss papers for insurance. Heard good things about him.
Will update my review once I have a surgery date.
Considering this is a community hospital and not a larger inner city hospital, Wyandotte Hospital really strives to stay with the up and coming technology. It is a center of excellence for bariatric surgery. They also reach out to the community to provide services such as a clinic for the working uninsured, home health care and free mamograms once a year in October. They also have many free checks quite often for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and smoking cessation. They are accredited by the DNV and provide their nurses with yearly education and promote best practices.
