Griffin Bariatrics -A New Beginning Hospital

I had an EXCELLENT experience at Griffin Hospital. My husband was not impressed with the 1st nurse I had once I got up to the floor but after that everything was EXCELLENT The attention I received from supporting areas (pharmacist and dietary) was very impressive. I had 2 lap-band surgeries at another hospital that boast being a center of excellence. Well let me tell you they weren't. I would highly recommend Griffin hospital as an LPN student I have seen the good, bad and the ugly. Griffin was defintly a pleasure to be cared at!

I went to a seminar that Dr. Floch had in his office. It was informative and he answered many questions I had. He was friendly and put me at ease. I came away ready to schedule an appointment for surgery.

His office helped with getting all the tests and information for the insurance company. The staff and Dr. Floch were always on hand for any questions I had along the way. After my RNY, I got thrush from the antibiotics in the hospital. My nurse Patty called me right away and sent meds to clear it up. I was given follow up visits, aftercare programs of nutrition, post groups and exercise. Everything was there if I needed it.

I am now 8 months post op and down 116 pounds. This surgery has changed my life for the better and I would do it all over again. I know I have done a lot of work to make sure my new life is successful, but Dr. Floch and his office have given me the tools to get there. His very high level of care has made this a wonderful journey.

I can't say enough when it comes to Dr. Floch (both of them). I had complications, but these doctors never left my side. They spoke to my family and made sure that they were in close contact with the doctors that were taking care of my other problems. They worked on me as a team. The other staff in the office were like angels, they were so good on handling everything. People always ask me "If you knew then what you know now would you have still done it?" I say " Yes because I had Doctors that were there for me 100% and more, I am happy that I love myself and look good at the same time!' Maybe if I had other doctors I wouldn't be saying that! I would never have wanted to have it go no other way complications and all, because I HAVE THE BEST DOCTORS ! Thank you Dr. Floch ( both of you guys) and all the staff, would do it again because of you guys! Not enough thanks in the world can be said to both Dr. Flochs and their staff!

My surgeon was actually Dr. Craig Flock, he was very funny and he understood how I felt and he was very informative. It was as if he was very excited for me even before I was. My impression of my doctor has never changed. I love him!!!
I can actually say that Kisha the receptionist is a sweet heart. I can call and ask any questions I want and she stops what ever she is doing and finds the answer to my question. Also the nurses in Dr.C. Flock's office are great.
The after care that the group offers is great they call you on a regular basis and remind you of what you are suppose to be achieving as far as your liquid intake.
I would have to say that Dr. Flock is wonderful surgeon and he has very good bedside manners. I loved his care from the beginning of my experience with this adventure.

After doing an extensive research on Bariatric Surgery, I attended a Weight Loss Seminar conducted by Dr. Craig Floch in Fairfield, CT. My first impression of him was that he was very knowledgeable, informative, and professional in manner. I knew right away that he was going to be the Surgeon to perform my surgery. Since that time, I have not regretted my decision as he has proven to be very professional and not so medically minded that he is not humanly grounded to his patients. And that is one of the many things I love about Dr. Craig as he made both me and my family feel very comfortable and reassured us along the way. The office staff is just as outstanding and are always easily accessible with a remarkable Aftercare program to their patients even years later. Since the success of the surgery, my health is great and my life is good. Presently, I am pleased to be be an active Advocate of Bariatric Surgery and honored to be one of the many faces of Fairfield County Bariatrics. DR. CRAIG YOU ARE THE BEST IN MY BOOK!

Dr. Floch is absolutely amazing. He's very straight forward, friendly, and caring. I'll admit when I first met him I was really nervous, but right away I realized he's there was no need to be nervous. He's quite personable and easy to talk to. Going into surgery he did his best to keep me calm and at ease. He really made me feel comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. Throughout this journey so far, he has been a great deal of help and support. His office staff is just as outstanding. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone looking into WLS. He's a great doctor and makes sure his patients are informed and know everything that should be expected before and after surgery.

He and his whole team are FANTASTIC!! Always available to talk, very attentive! No complaints!!

My first impression of Dr. Floch was that he seemed to be a very caring individual that was genuinely concerned for my health and that wanted to help me regain a healthy weight and lifestyle. I became aware of the great staff that his office had and how knowledgable and up-to-date he was on all the latest procedures and how much he wanted to ensure the success of each patient. During my pre-op stage he had people in his office that helped through the entire pre-op process, they did not simply give me a list of things that I needed to do, but were there to answer any and all of my questions. I would recommend this surgeon and his team because I felt confident as in my decision of having chosen Farfield Bariatrics and would never doubt that decision.

Fairfield bariatrics are a great team. I have met both Drs. Neil and Craig Floch and both were terrific. I was truly petrified to have surgery and they helped calm me down and not 'sell' me. They listened to me and why I wanted to make this change. Dr.Craig Floch ended up doing the surgery 2 days ago since Neil wasn't well enogh but they are both terrific. rnrnI have to also tell you that the office is terrific -Anita the office manager is a super star - she was there for all of my stupid questions and always took the time to deal with me. The other office star was Tangela who was my patient advocate to get my insurance approved and all my paperwork in. Tangela was in constant contact with me and got me through all of the paper mess to get the surgery approved. Tangela and Anita were both really positive and very professional. They both went the extra mile to accomodate me. All of the other folks in the office were all terrrific - I didn' have any bad experience.rnrnI am just out of the hospital today but since i was so scared (never had a surgery before) i really wanted to write to tell you all that these guys make it as easy as possible to help you thru this life change. I know my journey just has begun but I know these guys will be there for me.

I first met Dr. Neil Floch at the seminar and I was impressed with how kind and caring he was. He truly reached out to each individual, yet he wasn't pushy and you didn't get the feeling that he was \"selling\" the surgery. rnrnI had my first appointment with him on 9/10 and I continue to be impressed. He truly gives you the information and feedback but lets you make the choices about your own body.rnrnDue to my impatience - I am switching surgeon's to Dr. Craig Floch. He is just as wonderful as his brother and I am confident with my choice. I just didn't have the patience to wait while Dr. Neil was recovering.
