GBMC was clean and pleasant. The staff were very pleasant and approachable. They were attentive and helpful even to my husband. I am considering changing hospitals even though Hopkins is 1/4 of a mile from where I live.

My only complaint was that they kept me in recovery for over 8 hours because the person in my room was not discharged nor was the room cleaned in a timely manner. Also, I had one nurse who did not speak good English so I could not understand most of what she said.

Everything else was fine. Nurses and doctors were all nice. Things just seemed to take a long time to get done.
