My first couple of days were not too good - I had a room mate who screamed, moaned and cussed ALOT. She also left the TV on most of the night unless I asked the nurse to turn it off. I stopped my family from asking to switch me to a different room - now I wish that I had but I survived. Most of the time the nurses were slow with any requests - they seem to not answer call lights personally anymore. they will call in over the intercom and asked what you want and then about 20 minutes later you get whatever it was you wanted.

First 2 meals post op included sugar containing pop, jello and juice. Couldn't eat. Complained to surgeon, and after that were fine.

Had a noisy roommate - which was a pain at night.

I beleive they were very good at handling the needs of this surgery. I was taken care of and happy with the care.

I would never recommend it to anyone. I will never go there again. Never saw my nurses. They forgot labwork and it was never done post-op. My call light was never within reach. I had to fend for myself and do most everything on my own- including bathing, showering, and getting in and out of bed.
