Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (COE) Hospital
At the time of my surgery, the hospital was going through a radical change. They were understaffed and I felt alot of tension in the air.I felt I was treated poorly by the ICU staff. Once I got transferred to a regular floor, things got better and I was treated better by the staff.I have found out that my surgeon, who is wonderful, have move their practice across the street from the hospital and it is now called Bergen Bariatrics.
Dr. Ibrahim presented as a very carinng, concerned and knowledable Dr. I really liked the fact that he wanted several test done to see what my insides looked like since this would be my second surgery. His office staff was very nice and very helpful especially Devorah and Marlee. His aftercare program seems pretty good. I like the fact that the support groups are run by the nurse and the nutrionist. Overall I would rate Dr. Ibrahim 10++.
He Struck me as very personable. I have grown more appreciative of his skills and care. The staff was excellent, from the Office clerks to the Nurse in Charge. There is nothing I can find fault with. He is very Straight foward and direct, but very kind also. He is very precise. His Group has a very structured after care procedure and even though I live 5 hours away, his staff would check on me frequently at home, and always went out of their way to address any questions over diet or any matter concerning post op questions. He covered the risks very thourally and I felt very comfortable in his care. He is a 10+ in my Book. He is as far as I am concerned, World class at all the tasks!
Think as you will if my comments sound to positive about him. I speak the Truth as I see it. Again these are my personal opinions, but I would reccomend him to anyone.
Dr. Ibrahim was very professional and seemed sincerely interesed in helping myself as well as any ther person fighting obesity. My impression remains the same. His staff is supportive especially the program co-ordinator. There is a very structured after care program including visites to the dietician.
The risks of surgery were explained,at the same time Dr, Ibrahim expressed complete confidence in the surgery and my results.
Competence greatly outweighs bedside manner, as long as the support staff are caring and helpfull. You see more of them anyway.
my first impression he was very informative went step by step of what to expect.the office staff especially Devorah goldburg was very helpful and was in contact constantly. He really specifics to really think this descision thru carefully there is no going back on you decesion, and stressed how important to follow "all" the guide lines regarding the surgery to be sucessful. He was very candid about the fataility rate that he as a surgeron has had and I would rate him a 9 on a scale of 1-10. My main concern is his surgical competence, bed side manor is great but with my life in his hands i greatly care more about that.
I think Dr. Ibrahim is great. I felt comfortable with doing the surgery right after I met him. He assured me that things would be okay and that I can do this.
My surgery went really well. I think the only thing that I had a hard time with was the after affect of anesthesia.
I feel great so far and am going back to work Monday.
