Dr. Aksade is a wonderful and understanding surgeon. I was so glad that he performed my gastric bypass. He gave me all the information I needed before the surgery and was very supportive after the surgery. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. He also performed my gallbladder surgery 6 months later. He is a funny, compassionate doctor not to mention he is handsome. If you are in the Lehigh Valley and want a great doctor, try giving Dr. Aksade a call or go to one of his information sessions at Easton Hospital. I'm sure he can answer all your questions and let you feel at ease if you decide to have this surgery. It will a year in July that I have had my surgery and if I had to did it all again, I would and choose Dr. Aksade again. This surgery has changed my life for the better, in fact I feel that I have a new lease on life. Thanks to Dr. Aksade and the staff at Easton Hospital.

Although the surgery was the most difficult and painful for me, the staff at the hospital were wonderful and helpful, especially the night nurses.

Since I'm a nurse I tend to be critical of other nurses yet understanding at the same time. The afternoon nurses did the best they could under the circumstances they had (short staffed). But the night nurses - they were AWSOME. Each time I got up to use the bathroom they came in, fixed the bed and helped me get comfortable again. Even when I had gallbladder surgery they were great. In this area you hear rumors that Easton is a terriable hospital - but I've never had anything but quality care.

Dr. Aksade and his staff are all WONDERFUL. I had gastric banding 2 years ago and it was semi successful. On July 12th we're going for the bypass. He sat down with me, discussed all the options and we agreed this would be best. Dr. Aksade also did a gallbladder removal for me approx. 6 months after the banding and was just as great then. There really is nothing negative I can find with either him or his staff - each and every person is fantastic. When I began having problems with the band the office staff always managed to squeeze me in that day to see him. When I had the gallbladder problems, he came right to the hospital after returning from a trip. This may sound odd, but I am really looking forward to this next surgery, I know I will be in good hands at a good hospital.

My first impression of Dr Aksade was one of confidence. He and his staff have made me feel at ease about inquiring about surgery and they have been more than helpfull answering all my questions. I was so thrilled with my consult. I cant wait to get my surgery which should be in August sometime. His assistant Ann has been wonderful and has answered all my questions and Mandy and Whitney are just as wonderful as Dr Aksade. Only GREAT things to say about my Dr and his Staff.

Dr. Aksade has been very, very compassionate and kind. My surgery is in a few days and I feel very safe with him and his staff. Both Dr. Aksade and his staff have taken time to answer all my questions and have done a wonderful job of giving me an abundance of information. So far, so good.

Dr Aksade was awesome! In fact his whole team was great! Everyone is very knowledgeable, patient and willing to listen to your concerns. They tailored their program to help you get approved. The whole experience has been wonderful so far...His bariatric coordinator Mandy Nyce and the nutritionist,Lisa are fabulously helpful both with great sense of humors. At the office, Ann has everything under control and is an insurance EXPERT! Dr. Aksade's practice offers classes as well as follow up with suport groups at which Dr Aksade himself is present. AGain the hwole program gets five *****'s in my book.

My first impression of Dr. Aksade was good. He was all business and explained the different procedures well. As the time got closer to my actual surgery I was able to get to know him better and I found him to have a good bedside manner also. His staff is wonderful and very patient with the numerous phone calls and questions they recieve. rnDr. Aksade is going to tell you like it is. Very matter of fact. Aftercare is extremely important.rnThe bariatric coordinater, Mandi, is absolutely terrific. The program over at Easton would not be the same without her. Overall, I would give both surgeon and staff an A+.rn
