Citizens Medical Center Hospital
DR.MCDANIELS IS A VERRY CARRING AND CONSERN PERSON.HE EXPLAINED THE SURGERY IN GREAT DETAIL.MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF HIM WAS THAT HE REALLY KNEW HOW BADLEY I NEEDED HELP.HE THEN TOLD ME TO GO HOME AND GET ALL THE INFORMATION I CAN FINE AND LET HIM KNOW WHAT I WANTED TO DO. IT TOOK ME 5 MONTHS TO MAKE UP MY MINE TO DO IT.HIS OFFICE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL AND VERRY CARRING.I REALLY CAN'T SAY THERE IS ANYTHING I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT HIM.HE IS VERRY STRICK WHEN IT COMES TO THE DIETS. WHEN HE SAYS 2 WEEKS LIQUID IT IS 2 WEEKS AND NO SOONER.HE WANTS YOU TO WALK AFTER SURGERY AND TO CONTINUE WHEN YOU GO HOME.AS FAR AS I KNOW HE WANTS YOU TO CALL HIS OFFICE OF ANY PROBLEMS OR QUESTIONS. I CONTINUE TO SEE HIME EVER 2 WEEKS HE THEN WILL TELL ME WHAT TO DO NEXT.HEIS VERRY STRAIGHT ABOUT THE RISK I WOULD BE TAKING.AS FAR AS I'M CONSERN HE IS A 10 FOR I'M STILL HERE AND THERE WAS A LOT TO RISK WITH MY HEALTH.HE WAS GREAT as a surgon ALSO DISCUSSING THE RESULTS.1-2-02 DR.MACDANIELDS GAVE ME MY B-12 SHOT AND ALSO THE IRON AND CALICUM VITIAMS. I'M AT 301 NOW WHICH IS 55 POUNDS LOST. HE SAID I was doing great.
My surgeon was B. Dean McDaniel in Victoria, Texas. He was very matter of fact and to the point. He also was very sure of his work and up to date on all of the new techniques. His office staff was very friendly and helpful. They made me feel very comfortable right off. I would highly reccomend him and his staff. He does not emphasize aftercare too much. He sends you to a Psychiatrist and a nutritionist. Also, he makes sure that you go to some sort of support group before and after surgery. I think his surgical competence is a little better than his bedside manner. He is sort of matter of fact and too the point.
