I was very impressed with Dr. Noyan and his staff. They gave me their undivided attention and were very patient with all of my questions. I am still undecided as to whether I will have this surgery or not but I feel as if they led me in the right directions to figure it out. If I do decide to have the RNY surgery I would not consider having it with any other surgeon. From his office staff and nurses to himself I never once felt uneasy.

My first impression of Dr. Noyan was "what a pleasant man". Although I had just had an information session and watched a video prior to meeting him, he went over all the details of the surgery and how their program worked and answered any additional questions I had. His office staff and all of the Centra State Bariatric Program staff are very pleasant and enthusiastic. I have only heard good things about him and his bedside manner.

I was a bit skeptical about meeting with Dr. Noyan. However, much to my surprise, when i met him, he was very professional, courteous and most importantly he answered all of my questions and took his time with my consult. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable talking to him. I have chosen Dr. Noyan as my surgeon as i suspect that his bedside manner will be wonderful which in my opinion is a very important factor to a speedy recovery. His office office staff has been wonderful as well thus far.

Dr. Noyan of CentraState Hospital in Freehold, New Jersey is a wonderful doctor and a great surgeon! He treated me with respect and answered every question and concern that I had, one on one, from the beginning. I'd earlier experienced the services of another surgeon who was unable to perform my surgery, so when I transferred to Dr. Noyan (after requesting a HealthGard.com report on him and reading about CentraState Hosp.), I was pleased that he had a more personal approach to working with me. Besides that, he is a quiet, sweet man who is not intimidating. His office staff is supportive and I feel very comfortable with the support team he has for me. Both surgical competence and bedside manner were a number 10 with Doctor Noyan.

I had a wonderful experience with both Dr. Noyan and Dr. Washington. The coordinater Carrie is wonderful too.
The last meeting before surgery Dr. Noyan goes over all risks involved to make sure you understand exactly what will happen and what to expect afterwards.
Dr. Washington performed the endoscopy and he was a very nice man and nice to talk to.
Carrie (the Bariatric Coordinator) is wonderful. Most of the communication you have is with her, and she never makes you feel silly for asking questions and is quick to return your calls.
I did not have any problems with the Doctor's office staff. They were all very pleasant as well.
There are still classes and support groups to go to after surgery to make sure you are doing well.
My only concern was the hospital was abit lax in getting me up and walking. If my sister wasn't there to get me up when she did, (the day after surgery) I don't know how long I would have remained in bed.
I would recommend this group for surgery.

When I first met Dr Noyan, I was immediately put at ease. He was so thorough in his evaluation of me and wanted to know why I wanted to do this surgery. His explanation of the surgery was very detailed and honest. All of the different procedures, in addition to the gastric bypass, that were available. He explained to me what I needed to do to get on the list. What impressed me the most was that he didn't pressure me to make a decision right away. He told me that if I wanted to have this surgery that all I had to do was to begin the extensive education classes and to begin working on my pre-requisites needed to even be considered for surgery. He explained that I will have tons of education prior to the surgery and after as well. There will be several check-ups with him and the dietician too, to make sure I do not become deficient of any vitamins or minerals. I asked him if he had experienced any complications with any of his surgeries, if anyone had died, how many has he performed, and various other questions. I did not feel rushed or nervous when I met with him. Based on his demeanor and things I have learned from the support group, I would recommend him to anyone. I will wait to tell you all about how he is as a surgeon until after my surgery but as of right now I have nothing but great things to say about him.

I had an overall good experience. The only rough point was going down to x-ray for my leak test..the process was a little painful because of the way the x-rays have to be taken..radiology could have understood that a bit more. However the nursing staff as well as my student nurse, were all a great help to me.

Hospital staff was very supportive, many of them sharing personal stories about friends or relatives who have had wls. Only once was I made to feel uncomfortable, when the day nurse kept asking transportation if she needed help with the stretcher to take me to get my barium x-ray. Other than that one nurse, everyone else was wonderful.

I've met Dr. Noyan several times, and he's always impressed me as a very friendly, personable, and knowledgable man. Whenever I ask a question, his answers are always perfectly clear and concise. His staff is very friendly, and always willing to help out. I'm very confident with letting him operate on me.
