• Access to dedicated plastic surgeons for patients interested in body contouring after weight loss
Surgical options
The Bariatric Center at Bryn Mawr Hospital offers three types of surgery; Adjustable Gastric Banding, Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass, and Sleeve Gastrectomy. Most bariatric procedures are performed as laparoscopic — or minimally-invasive — procedures, through tiny incisions. Patients benefit from less pain, fewer complications and a shorter hospital stay.
