Bellin Health Hospital
For the most part, the hospital stay was good. I had some awesome nurses...4 in particular who stick out in my mind...that went above and beyond the call of duty while caring for me, and I also had a couple who should maybe look into factory work because they sucked at their bedside manner, but overall, I would definately stay there again, the great nurses I had made up for the crappy ones.
It was difficult with after care. The nurse was never told by the CNA when I would ask for pain meds. I was never really instructed on after care and personal hygine.
First off I want to say the nurses on the surgical floor were by far the best I have ever seen they were attentive and nice and treated me like I was a person and not just another patient anything I needed they got for me and even helped with those embaressing things that I was uncomfortable asking like help with showering and etc.. I would go to this hospital again without hesitation.
the hospital staff were so very kind and gentle..very helpful and encouraging. it is too bad that the bariatric staff does not use the same methods of care and concern that the surgical staff did.
The staff treated me with dignity and respect. I was never made to feel uncomfortable because I am overweight and chose an elective WLS. The staff is super.
