I was promised a private room but ended up sharing with an elderly patient but aside from that, my stay was quite positive and the nurses treated me incredibly well, were very kind and attentive. Despite the fact that I had surgery, it was a very positive experience overall.

I felt that I was in good hands there. I knew the surgeon from his past work and the entire office staff was excellent. In addition, the hospital was right on top of my needs and concerns.

The hospital and staff were great other then the other patient had 8 guest in h visiting her the day I had surgery I told the nurses several times and they did nothing. Of course I was in pain and trying to sleep , but it was not going to happen, with all the noise.But once I told the visitors they were way to noisy they left :)

my neighbor had a lot of visitors on the day of my surgery and was very noisy and I told the nurses who did nothing

The staff was great. I had a better experience than I expected. I was upset that family couldn't accompany me to pre-op, but it was ok

I could not have asked for better care and friendly and CARING from the nurses and staff of Bay Area Hospital, they were with me all the way and I would go there again if need be. 99% of the time I did not have to push my call button because they were there to see if I needed anything!

The hospital bed was uncomfortable - I couldn't sleep the second day, so I had to sleep in a recliner. But - that is my only complaint - everything else was great!

The graveyard shift nurse left much to be desired. Willie, my daytime nurse was GREAT! He let me take a shower and everything. He is the BEST! If I ever have to go to a hospital again, I REALLY hope the Willie is there. He needs a raise!
