The Baton Rouge Clinic - AMC Hospital
Dr. Jonathan Taylor - a great man! He has the best bedside manner. He was compassionate, caring, gentle, and most of all understanding. His office staff walked me through the many different appointments that I have to have before the surgery. Dr. Taylor is an overall super guy - made a GREAT first impression.
There was not one thing that he seemed to forget - he covered it all from pre-op diet to post-op care to a life long change.
Overall on a scale of 1 to 10 - his score is a TEN!!!!

my first impression of dr. taylor was when i saw his picture on the b.r. clinic website and i thought he had the cutiest chipmunk squishy cheeks.
When i met him to day i was way more impressed. he did not rush answered all of my questions. and i showed up with 4 pages of questions. His nurse was Amanda she was just as awesome.
both were very knowledgeable and had a awesome sense of humor. He was not like a bunch of docs and just give you a bunch of facts and leave you sitting there with STUPID written across your forehead. he broke everything down into normal people talk.
i can not say what i like least yet i have only seen him the 1 time but he made a great impression on me.
future patients should know he is very friendly and personable.
He told me he will be my doc. for life after this.
and said he has a great aftercare team that will be there with me forever also. so i stay on the right track with nutrition, vitamins, and everything else.
He went threw each surgery with me and the risk associated with them
rateng him and amanda between 1-10 they get a 12 or higher for sure
to me which is better i prefer both. i want someone who knows what he is doing and can take a joke when i get nervous and and have understanding and compassion when i get scared and be able to look at there face and know they are sincer..
i hope this helps anyone looking for a doc in the baton rouge area
