About Me
Dr. Bock has been the Coordinator of Bariatric Surgery and Critical Care Nutrition at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. He was responsible for coordinating bariatric surgery patients through the pre- and postoperative process. He also provided medical nutrition therapy for both inpatient and outpatient bariatric clients to promote the best outcomes after surgery. His doctoral research demonstrated that patients who followed his guidance and came in for routine preoperative visits had significantly better outcomes than those who came in only one time before surgery. Learning proper eating behaviors before surgery is essential to prevent poor food tolerance, dehydration and improved weight loss postoperatively. He has more than 14 years of eperience in the field of bariatric surgery.
