Missy Carter was born and raised in Florence, Oregon. Health and fitness has always been a passion hers. After witnessing a close family member struggle with weight loss and then decide to have gastric bypass surgery, Missy knew she was meant to be a dietician. She has huge compassion for people that struggle with weight loss and strives to support everyone in having a positive weight loss experience after bariatric surgery.

Missy received her undergraduate degree in nutrition food management at Oregon state university. She continued on to Muncie, Indiana where she completed an internship in dietetics at Ball Memorial Hospital after which she received her license as a registered dietician. She combines a clinical understanding of nutrition with the support needed to help you meet your weight loss and health goals. In her spare time Missy enjoys visiting with friends, family and especially spending time with her young daughter.
