MARGARET ADAMS, RDN, LDN, CDE is a licensed clinical dietician who obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Dietetics from Pennsylvania State University. She completed the American Dietetic Association Traineeship Program and the Adult Weight Management Certificate Program, as well as the Core Concepts Course from the American Association for Diabetes Education. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Ms. Adams offers medical nutrition therapy, including diabetes education, heart disease and obesity counseling. She educates adults and older adults on heart-healthy diets, as well as diets for those with diabetes and renal (kidney) conditions, and she creates diets for those who have had weight-loss surgery or who need low-salt or weight-reduction eating plans.
