About Me
Keri was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma. She attended Oklahoma State University, received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics in 2006 and her Master of Science in Nutrition in 2008, after completing her Dietetic Internship in 2007. Keri has worked several years as an inpatient dietitian in hospitals and long-term care/skilled nursing facilities in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. She has a strong background in providing medical nutrition therapy for many nutrition-related health issues, including diabetes, renal disease, heart health, nutrition support, as well as general nutrition and weight loss.
For the past three years, Keri has worked within the oncology community, and is a Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) nutrition. Before relocating to Oklahoma, she worked as an outpatient dietitian for The University of Kansas Cancer Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Since relocating to Oklahoma, she has joined the adjunct faculty at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City campus, and also does private nutrition consulting as well as bariatric consulting with Bariatric Dietitian Services. Keri also has experience in community nutrition, including the development of classes and programs for cancer-related nutrition and general health and wellness, cooking demonstrations, professional group education, and adolescent nutrition.
