Chelsea Murphy Dietitian / Nutritionist MS, RD, CD

Originally seeking a degree in Biology, my entire world changed the day I stepped into my first nutrition class at Central Washington University. I was so captivated and intrigued by what I was learning that I knew I had to switch gears (and Majors for that matter!) to pursue a career as a Registered Dietitian. Two degrees in Nutrition later, I could not be more thrilled with where my education and experience has taken me.

Every day I get to share my passion for nutrition with each patient I meet. I make it a point to get people re-energized about food and nutrition and making their health a priority. I love to share my knowledge with others and am always willing to go above and beyond to make sure my patients are taken care of. I delight in knowing I can help to make a true impact in my patient’s lives and enjoy helping them to think outside the box and be creative with nutrition. I truly believe in the power that nutrition has to offer and am focused on helping my patients achieve total body wellness.

I am member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and its subgroup for Weight Management. My research background is primarily focused on healthy cooking and helping people incorporate healthy choices in to their daily lifestyles.

In my spare time you can find me outdoors with my chocolate lab named Laila. We love to swim, hike, and go running together. When Laila and I are not training for my next big race you can find me in the kitchen cooking for my friends and family; continuing to share my love for nutritious food with everyone I know!
