Zaher Nuwayhid Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

A Board Certified Surgeon and Fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Zaher Nuwayhid received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he graduated top of his class. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital and went on to complete bariatric surgery training at the Laparoscopic Institute of South Florida and robotic surgery training at the Da Vinci System Training in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Nuwayhid has preformed hundreds of weight loss surgery procedures and has published numerous articles in the field of general surgery. He is certified in endoscopic bariatric procedures including Intragastric Balloon Insertion and Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty.
