Dr. W. Alan Bradshaw, Bariatric Surgeon W. Alan Bradshaw, MD, FACS is highly-skilled in a full spectrum of general and bariatric surgical care. He shares his surgical expertise with patients at Mission Health. Dr. Bradshaw is fluent in Spanish. He earned his medical degree at the Texas A&M University College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He went on to complete a fellowship at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Bradshaw is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), a member of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). As a surgeon, he is affiliated with Mission Hospital and the Asheville Specialty Hospital.
