Dr. Nicholas Paulk, Bariatric Surgeon Nicholas Paulk, MD, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon that specializes in the treatment of obesity and weight-related conditions through bariatric surgery at Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate degree in Biology and then went on to earn his medical degree from the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Exempla St. Joseph's in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Paulk is a fellow of the American College of Surgery (FACS). He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (ASMBS), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Utah Medical Association.
