Joshua Landreneau Bariatric Surgeon MD

Joshua Landreneau, MD, is a board-certified surgeon who performs general and metabolic and bariatric surgeries with advanced, less-invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. He treats hernias that affect the abdominal wall, stomach, esophagus and diaphragm, as well as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), motility disorders and other associated conditions of the stomach and esophagus. Dr. Landreneau understands that every patient requires a thoughtful, individualized approach to treat their condition and make decisions for surgical planning. His goal is to offer the safest and least-invasive intervention needed to treat their condition. Dr. Landreneau enjoys working together with patients and other experts at MU Health Care to make positive changes in the lives of his patients. When not seeing patients, Dr. Landreneau’s interests include rowing, running, cooking, traveling and American history. He and his wife live in Columbia with their two golden retrievers, and serving patients at MU Health Care is a family affair shared with his brother, ophthalmologist James Landreneau, MD.
