Fariba Dayhim Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS, FASMBS, DABOM, CNS

Dr. Dayhim, MD, FACS, FASMBS, DABOM, CNS, is an established and highly skilled surgeon with more than 15 years of experience in advanced minimally invasive, general, and bariatric surgery, states an SSM Health news release.

She completed her general surgery residency at New York Medical College (Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center and Lincoln Hospital) in the Bronx, New York. She then went on to complete her advanced minimally invasive/bariatric surgery fellowship at The Methodist Hospital/Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Prior to her residency in New York, she also did a research fellowship at The University of Michigan Plastic Surgery department, the release states.

Dr. Dayhim holds certifications from the American Board of Surgery, American Board of Obesity Medicine, and Certification Board of Nutrition Specialists. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS) as well as an active member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), the release states.

Dayhim’s practice is part of SSM Health Medical Group located at 5 Good Samaritan Way, Suite A, in Mount Vernon. She is accepting new patients. Her office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
