My first impression of Dr. Roe was how knowledgeable he was. He was very confident he could help me with my journey.rnrnMy impression of him has not changed a bit about his skill and knowledge. I find that he is very concerned about his patients and only wants us all to have success.rnrnDr. Roe's office staff are like really good friends as soon as you meet them. They are a great compliment to him.rnrnFuture patient should know they have placed themselves into excellent hands and they should follow his instructions because he really knows what he is talking about and what he is doing.rnrnDr. Roe really wants us to keep in touch and come to support group meetings because he feels and I agree with him that you need to always stay focused about your weight. You can't get too comfortable that surgery alone will take care of your life long problem. You have to talk to and hear from others who have gone through the same thing.rnrnYes. He sees us monthly and makes sure we are taking our vitamins and eating correctly. rnrnDr. Roe was very honest about the complications that could happen with this surgery. He wanted me to have a family member with me when he explained all about them and had me sign the consent for surgery papers. He told me his complication rate and was very thorough with the information. rnrnI could not have had a better surgeon. I rate Dr. Roe on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest a 2000!rnrnBoth are great. Of course you want your surgeon to know what they are doing but you also want to be able to feel they have your best interest at heart.

Doc Roe is fantastic.rnrnHe is very tuned in to our emotional needs as well as an excellent practitioner. He is totally on board with how we feel and the challanges we are dealing with. rnrnThere has never been a question or problem that he couldn't answer or take care of. I would recomend him to anyone.rnrnHis staff is just as supportive too, and have answers for people as well. Dawn who is his office manager is fantastic.rnaa rnEmotional support is so very very importatnt on this journey and he has that totally locked down. I think he will give you his heart whenever you need it.rnrnHe has a support group and a a online e group too. He feels that if you stay in a support group take your vitamis and B 12, keep in touch with your surgeon whne you have a problem (there are things that only your WLS would think of to test for.) and keep up protien intake that you will make it.rnrnHe is there for you every step of the way. He has a nutritionist as well for before and after appointments.rnrnMary Kayrnrn

My first impression of Dr Roe was he is pretty laidback, but he is also a very knowledgable Doctor on WLS and weight related issues...which is what I want in a doctor. I felt he was comfortable with the work that he does and he made me feel quite confident of his abilities as a surgeon. He tells it like it is, the benefits aswell as risks in layman terms. His staff... especially Dawn were top notch, professional, and sharp as a tack. I feel good about my decision in choosing Dr Roe and his staff as my care providers. rnrnAftercare....very very good....still treated like a new patient 4 years out. Dr. Roe takes his time, he listens, answers all questions, and I think he genuinly cares. All calls and emails are responded to immediatly. I highly recommend Dr. Roe and his staff for your weight loss needs. VERY GOOD in my opinion.

My first impression was scketchy. I felt he took too long getting started on his presentation and I needed to get back to work. He didn't look like a doctor, didn't act like one. House - the DR. on TV would describe him - Very honest and upfront .The office did not impress me - kind of plain. But, The staff was great and so is Dr. Roe. After the seminar, I knew in my gut he was the one! He is honest and tells it like it is. I still decided to check out others but ultimatley I came back to Dr. Roe and feel very pleased with my decision. Will continue this as things progress.....rn06/12/08 -My second visit and I know I made the right choice. He really does care and is very knowledgable. He calmed my hubby's fears and mine. rn07/08 - Dawn the office manager is just Awesome. She has helped me so much ..answering my questions, helping me along getting everything ready to turn into my insurance com.

DR. Roe is a amazing. He is very straight forward, and not your typical \"white coat\" DR. He is himself, and I love that about him. rnFrom the moment I met him, you could tell that he knows his stuff, and his respects and cares for his patients deeply.rnrnHis office staff is wonderful also. I love the fact that I am in and out at my monthly check ups. rnrn

Dr. Roe is a pretty cool person... cocky as anything, but he knows his stuff. I like him... sometimes he's a little weird... but I like him. I have only heard great things about his office staff and I have no complaints. rnrnHe's different, but good.

What can I say about Dr. Roe and his staff? They are unique. I have been to my fair share of doctors offices and they are by far the kindest I have ever met. rnDr. Roe is so wonderful. He tells you like it is. Doesn't hold back. Tells you the pro's and con's of having WLS. I simply like the fact that he is just there for his patients when they need him. He goes the extra yard to make sure that everything is going the way it is supposed to. Also, to give us a swift kick in the behind if we need it. rnHis staff is great also. When I went to his office for the first time it was nice to see a smiling face of someone who didn't know me but I knew that they cared about my health. rnI love going to the support group meetings. I have learned so much from the people there who have had the surgery before me. The mere fact that Dr. Roe goes to every support meeting is a sign that he cares for us. Not just for the short term, but for the long haul. I know of people who have had this surgery whose doctor after a year of after care dropped them. He wont do that and that says something about his character. rnIf anyone asks me who did my surgery, I tell them straight up, Dr. Roe. I give them the information if they want it and tell them to research WLS. rnOverall, I would say that the care that I am recieving from the good doctor and his staff would be an A++++++++++++++++++++++rnThank you for giving me back my life.

DR ROE WAS WONDERFUL. HE IS VERY INFORMATIVE. HE HAS ALOT OF PATIENCE. HE LETS YOU KNOW THE GOO, BAD, AND THE UGLY. HIS AFTER CARE IS GREAT. I GO EVERY MONTH AND LETS ME KNOW, HOW I AM DOING ON WEIGHT LOSS. AND IF I CALL HIM FOR A QUESTION. THEY RETURN MY CALL IN NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES.HE IS A 10 IN BOOK.
