Simon Woods is great i can reccommend him to anybody that wants a DS he did me open with all the after care in the world

My first impression of Simon Woods was of a very professional man who made absolutely sure that I understood my options and the risks involved in having the DS. Simon's secretary, Sharon is wonderful - she is the most helpful and friendly person and very easy to talk to. While Simon was on leave, however, another secretary, Alison answered a couple of my calls and she was rude, unhelpful and didn't give a damn. She didn't listen to me, didn't even know I had had a DS after I had told her at least 3 times. She told me to go to a GP about my excess fluid the day after being discharged from hospital. I explained that I am from out of state, she didn't care. My mohter had to get nasty with her for her to finally allow me to talk to Simon Woods' partner - who was very helpful and resolved my issue. His emphasis on after care is not as great for the DS as it is with his Lapband patients, he says that in the long run DSers adjust better to their new plumbing and that other than monitoring vitamin and mineral levels, DSers do not need the same level of ongoing support. Simon's bedside manner is excellent, he listened and addressed issues promptly and was warm. Overall, I believe that Simon Woods is a highly skilled and talented surgeon who would not attempt any surgery that he did not beleive would be successful.
