My 1st impression he looked very young, but that didn't bother me because I have heard very good things about him. Most of all he very sweet, understanding and very easy to talk to. If you are looking for a surgeon that friendly, keeps it real and always return your emails within 24 hrs, he is the one. He was at the hospital everyday to make sure I was ok. He is the best. Even after the surgery I can email him and he respond right away. My Dr. called me one day because I was so discourage of getting the surgery and I asked him to call me to help me with my fears and he did, that meant alot to me. He was GOD sent. I thank God for him.
My first impression of Dr. Feteiha was that he looked very young. But after hearing him speak, it was clear why he came so highly recommended. He was very polite and when I came into his office for my primary consultation, he saw that I was ready for and serious about this change in my life. He didn't beat around the bush and didn't waste my time with unecessary conversation. I appreciated that. I am looking forward to his continued professionalism.
My 1st impression of Dr Feteiha I thought that he was very young but after listening to him I realize that looks can be deceiving because his information was grand, the office staff is great especially Janet any & all appointments that I needed was readily available meaning it appears that I didn't have to do much of anything all I can sy that any future patient will find out that they will be in very good hands I will be updating post op on the aftercare which I am sure will be the best that it can be... I already know what my meds are going to be during my stay at the hospital.
My first impression was Doogie Houser, I am 44 and he looks and is very young. Excellent bedside manner. The office staff was excellent. There is nothing that I did not like about him. I think he (and there was another doctor with him during surgery) did an excellent job. Slight pain to be expected. His meeting pre op about the risks were the same as most (I went to 2 different ones). I would rather have surgical competence over bedside manner anyday, but lucky for me I got both!!
My first impression was that he looked very young and he could not possibly be the surgeon. He was pleasant and very honest. At the first office visit when he told me I had to lose weight before he would set a date for the surgery made me dislike him a little, but that did not last very long. Once he explained that my BMI was too high. He said he wanted to avoid severe complications from the extra weight. I understood what he was saying. The office staff is sweet, very knowledgeable and professional. They treated me with respect and listened to what I had to say.
Dr. Feteiha is really big on aftercare and attending monthly support group meetings. The aftercare that Dr. Feteiha provides is extraordinary. He is thorough and talks to you and answers any questions you may have, whether it is your first aftercare visit or your thirty-third. I would rate Dr Feteiha as an excellent doctor. He takes his time with you and cares about your progress and the setbacks. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease with him. The visits are stress free and not rushed like you are taking up his time and inconveniencing him.
Dr. Feteiha was wonderful! I never had any reservations about having this surgery and that was due in large part to my impression and confidence in Dr. Feteiha. He made me feel at ease from the very beginning and he is very warm and genuinely caring of all his patients. One thing that stood out for me was that he is extremely clean - that may sound weird to some but I found it comforting to know that. He went out of his way to visit me in the hospital DAY and NIGHT! On the day I was scheduled to go home Dr. Feteiha visited me at 7:00AM sharp to get me discharged if I was ready - which I was.
His office staff were great also - notably Janet who is a great source of knowledge about this procedure - especially the insurance piece of it - but her compassion for all patients shines thru also.
If you have the opportunity to pick your surgeon - please keep Dr. Feteiha in mind - you won't regret it!
The first time I met DR.Feteiha I thought how very young and hansome he is.After speaking with him I found that he is a very caring doctor,he is straight forward and tells you all the facts about the surgery.DR.Feteiha expressed the importants of aftercare each time I spoke with him. His office staff is very nice and knowledgable about the surgery. Janet is very nice.Overall I would rate DR.Feteiha a 10.
The very first time I met Dr. Feteiah, I liked him. He is young and very handsome but he is also very friendly and knowledgable...he answered all of my questions. He took over my case from where I had left off with another doctor who went out of network.
His office staff is great. Janet, the receptionist is very friendly and always asks how I feel and how I'm doing since the surgery. Rebecca...she is the one who actually scheduled my surgery, was also very sweet and very helpful every time I called her to ask her a question.
Dr. Feteiah went over the risks of surgery with me and reassured me that there was a very low chance of any of these occuring but that I had to be aware and sign an authorization form.
Even though I had already seen a nutritionist before I came to Dr. Feteiah, he requested that I see another one who is associated with his office. That way, I would be better informed of the post-op diet plan that I would have to follow with him. He also sent me to have a gallbladder ultrasound done to rule out gallstones, and when I got the results, I was shocked to find out I had them and never knew it. It was just a precaution, but I'm glad he had me check it. So he planned to take out my gallbladder while he was performing my LAP RNY.
On the day of my surgery, I saw Dr. Feteiah right before the procedure and he made me feel very comfortable and safe. He asked how I was doing and told me everything would be fine.
I was in ICU for 2 days but I saw Dr. Feteiah twice a day and he even held my hand and walked with me around the hall. He has a great bedside manner and it's obvious how important his patients are to him. He is the best doctor I have ever had and I would recommend him to anyone.
I had surgery on July 14th and from the moment I met Dr. Feteiah I knew I would be in great hands....He is not only a great surgeon but his bedside manner is by far the best out of any Dr. I have been to, and believe me I have been to many drs....and he is very patient and answers all my questions and when hes not around his associates are just as great as him....I will be forever greatful for Dr. Feteiah and would highly recommend him to anyone....his office is not overwhelmed and his staff is great also...anyone having any questions about dr fetieha feel free to email me.
DR. FETEIAH IS A VERY YOUNG AND KNOWLEDGEABLE PERSON WITH A WONDERFUL MANNER ABOUT HIM, HE IS VERY CARING AND GENTLE. I AM TRUSTING HIM WITH MY LIFE,AND HAVE NOT ONE 2ND THOUGHT.DRS STAFF IS THE BEST, WILL DO ANYTHING TO OBLIGE YOU IN THIS TIME OF CHOICES. THEY WORK OUT EVERYTHING WITH YOU, BUT YOU MUST DO ALL OF YOUR OWN HOMEWORK.DR EMPHASIZES AFTERCARE WITH A CAPITAL LETTER, AND ALL THAT GOES WITH IT.I KNOW ALL THE RISKS OF SURGERY, AND I TRUST IN MY DR.AND PRAY THAT MY GOD BLESSES HIM EACH AND EVERYDAY.OVERALL DR. M. FETEIAH AND HIS GREAT STAFF I WOULD RATE WITH 100%
