Dr. Sarr came across to me as friendly and informal during our first meeting. He seems trustworthy and capable to me.

I have only seen him once but I was very impressed.
I found him very professional and knowledgable regarding the surgery.

Nice, kind and straight forward about inforamation . Have only seen him once. Have seen his staff Dr. a few times. He was also nice explain the different types of surg. They work with many area's. Nurition,pshyc. Its all there and for follow up I here its great so I will keep you posted .

Dr. Sarr put me at ease the minute he entered the room. He is very good natured and caring. He took the time to listen when he asked me questions and allowed me to ask questions plus he gave me names and telephone numbers of several former patients who are willing to talk about their bariatric surgery with me.

Have only spoken to him once.. and he seems to be really nice and straight forward about everything and i feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon.. his nurse is really nice as well.

My appointment is for 2 January 02 and I can't wait!! I'm so excited!

I am now 8 days post-op. I feel great. I have nothing but praise about my surgeon, Dr. Michael Sarr of Mayo Clinic. A very nice, down to earth doctor. An excellent and skilled surgeon. I strongly recommend Dr. Sarr and Mayo Clinic to anyone on this path for several reasons: support, education, treatment, availability, thoroughness, friendliness, and support again. Dr. Sarr's bedside manner is friendly, personable, and comforting. His staff constantly checks on you every single day two or three times a day. I have been told by Dr. Sarr to NOT HESITATE to call him if I need to. Wonderful experience!!!

I met Dr. Sarr on 12-13-01, He is a VERY nice person! His staff are very friendly and helpful. I was very happy with our visit.

He was very concerned and said he would help me.

It just got better with time.He calls to see how I'm doing while I wait to have surgery.

Dr Sarr was completly relaxed and thus made me relax when I first meet him, In order to seee him or get approval for surgery from him you must meet with several Drs, Dietian, and be involved in a physc group about changing your lifestyle. They taught me that surgry was onl the first step it's how I change my eating habits that will gaurentee the success of this operation. The Mayo clinic has a first rate program they do not allow you to jump into anything without thinking it though, also the team of Doctors must all be in agreement with the surgery. I am told that Dr. Sarr is world renoned in his field of gastric bypass and feel confident in his hands.

IS A PROFESSOR OF SURGERY,HE STILL IS SURE THAT YOU HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION NEEDED. I WAS GIVEN NAMES OF PEOPLE WHO HAD THE SURGERY AT TIMES FROM 6 TO 24 MONTHS ALSO HE FOLLOWS
UP WITH QUESTIONAIRES FOR UP TO 48 MONTHS. HE WILL NOT CUDDLE YOU WHEN YOU DO SOMETHING WRONG AS EAT SUGAR,FATTY FOODS,. BUT ALL IN ALL HE'S A GREAT GUY ALL AROUND,
