Michael Potter Bariatric Surgeon M.D.
My first impression of my surgeon was wow he's tall and kinda cute, younger than I thought he would be but not a bad thing!!! We started discussing my history, experience in the program, concerns, questions, and expectations and he was great at answering everything. he never seemed like he was in a rush and spent alot of time with me, more time than the allocated appt time that was scheduled. I then asked him which surgery he felt would be better for me knowing and discussing my medical history, the RYN or Lapband? He responded RNY, which is what I wanted and what I thought was medically better for me given my history. He then went over the concent form in detail discussing each risk/complication given me the oppertunity to ask any questions and then we signed together. I was provided a copy to take home and he gave me all his contact numbers in case of questions or complications pre and post-op. My surgery went well he was great, came to see me prior to surgery, talked to my husband after surgery, came to see me after surgery. Responded to my late night and middle of the night pages after returning home. And has been great regarding following up with regular care and any complications I feel I might be having. I couldn't have asked for a better surgery experience than he provided!!!! Aboslutley nothing negitive about him!!!!

I feel Dr Potter was an overall excellent Dr. My first meeting with him ne spend qaulity time wit me and answered every question i had. He made sure I was healthy to proceed with surgery which is very important. The day of surgery I had a questiin and he came to see me before they even thought of wheeking me in the op room. The one thing I really minded was having to wait 3 weeks for my post op follow up. I guess I could have called to see if I could come in sooner but the office scheduled me that way before the surgery day fo9r some reason. Overall satisfied as of now.

Dr. Potter is a very kind-hearted good Dr. He takes the time to answer questions and listen to what you have to say. There is nothing I didn't like about Dr. Potter and his staff are great. Him and Dr. Arcand make a great team at the Fallon Bariatric Program. Fallon has a great aftercare program that gives you all the support you need. And the program you have to complete to get surgery is top notch. Dr. Potter makes you sign a notice of the risks and it lists everything. He went over each one with me at my consultation. He is a quitely spoken gentle and great surgeon. I would put my life in his hands again in a heartbeat. The only thing I didn't like was my hospital experiance which has no bearing on my opinion of Dr. Potter. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great and I would personally recomend him to anyone...
