Michael Drew Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

He was very open and honest, easy to talk to and willing to answer every stupid question. He never let me feel like my questions were stupid.
His staff was willing to help but did let me ask my questions of the doctor instead of acting like they knew it all. They also were encouraging.
As far as after care goes he made it clear that I NEEDED to attend the meetings for info and support.
I would not say there is a structured aftercare program.I was a little confused about when to see him after the surgery.
In his office and at the meetings he made it clear that there were plenty of risks and even what some of them were.
I give him a good rating. I would have the surgery over again if I needed to and knew he would be the doctor.
I give a great rating for both bedside manner and surgical competence.
I was also happy that the next day he came to tell me about the few oddities of my surgery. No one is perfect but my experience was a good one.

Dr. Drew made me feel so comfortable. He explained the surgery to me very clearly. I feel very confident having him as my surgeon!

Saw Dr. Michael Drew for the first time today. I had started this journey with another Dr. but because of insurance problems I was recommended to Dr. Drew. He was so pleasant and caring. Since I knew everything about the surgery there wasn't much we needed to go over other than how he works.
I will see him again in 2 weeks after he reviews all my records and tests performed so far and go from there. Will keep you posted.

had my surgery on 6/5. Every thing went smoothly. everyone can't believe how well I am doing and how fast I have healed. I am back at work after two weeks off and I am walking daily and sipping and eating different foods now.

I highly recommend Dr. Drew. He is so nice and caring. He knows his stuff. So does his nutristionist. Wonderful people.

I've been looking for a good surgeon for about 3 weeks now. I met Dr. Drew on June 16th for the first time, and he was wonderful! The office is beautiful, the staff is great! I felt very comfortable with him. I've been researching this for a long time, so there were very few questions I had. I feel very confident in him and this whole experience. I have some tests he'd like me to get done then I will see him again go over the results. He said I'm looking at about a month from now for the actual surgery! I highly recommened him! 9/10! :-)

im a pre op and when i saw my surgeon for the first time my first impression of dr. micheal drew was good.

his office is been renovated because it a new section in the hospital.

he was very friendly he had a constant smile. he was very nice and mad me feel comfortable.

hes is very truthfull he will tell u what he thinks up front.

he tell u about the risk and to think about it throughly.

i give him an 8/10.

his mannerism is great.
