I first saw Dr. Snyder at one of his seminars in November, 2004. My husband and I had attended that day after my looking into bariatrics for aprox 18 months. I scheduled my first appointment at his office on December 15, 2004. He was extremely professional, curteous and very informative. I had so many comorbidities that he felt that I would be a good candidate for the surgery. I met with him a second time on January 17, 2005, just 5 days after finding out that I was approved, and was scheduled for the surgery. His office is extrmely well run, extremely professional and overall, friendly. The thing that I liked most about Dr. Snyder was the fact that he was so comfortable with his patients, even new ones like me, that he made me feel welcome. He and his staff also made me feel like a real person with real problems, not just another overweight woman. He has such a great philosophy about what he does and how it should be done, that everything seems to flow without a hitch. His program is not just to get you into surgery and then leave, but to follow you through the rest of your process. This series of procedures that his office go through are planned out just like clockwork. The post operative follow ups are well done and so very important. The aftercare is so well structured that you could go it alone, even though Nobody, including myself would recommend so. The contact and follow up on how everyone is doing is so vital and so well done. Dr. Snyder has the best bedside manner as well as in office professionalism. I also feel that he is avery gifted surgeon. I have had no negative experiences with this office, hospital, staff or anyone involved with Dr. Snyder. I would fully recommended him to anyone looking for this type of surgery.
My first impression was that he genuinly cared about his patients. He really enjoys what he does and wants to be the best at it. My impression of him stayed the same even after my consult with him. He and his staff really care about you and do their best to make you comfortable. He doesn't sugar coat anything and is very honest. I would rate him a 10 out of 10. I can say this is one of the few doctors I have seen and can say that I love what he is about.
During my attendance at Dr. Snyder's seminar, my impression of him was that he was a personable man and a caring physician, who did not have the usual prejudices against obese people. My impression did not change during my office visit with him. I felt that he listened attentively and did not talk down to me.
His office staff was efficient and polite, but seemed harried.
Because I knew that I was going to be a self-pay, I would have liked for the issue of cost to have been disclosed during the seminar.
It seems to me his aftercare program is outstanding.
Very professional and careing
My impression over time has not changed. I know if I get into trouble, Dr. Snyder and his staff will help me.
Office staff is very much the same. Very careing and professional. May even give more than 150%.
This is a life time committment and unless they are ready to make this life time change from the day of surgery, this is not for them.
The after care is very important, especially if you are going to stay healthy. I don't know of anyone who has succeeded without following the rules.
There is a very structured after care, but you have to take the patient needs to be accountable and follow it to the letter.
There is always a risk, just be aware of how to get help, the symtems, and rules.
I rate this office, Dr. and staff number 1 in surgery, customer care, and after care.
This Dr. and staff have surgical compentence and bedside manner. Very professional, listens, protects, advises, and cares for any simptoms related to the surgery.
My first impression of Dr. Snyder was that he was professional, and I did not feel like he was "rushing" me through the office appointment. He took the time to explain everything and then answer all my questions. Dr. Snyder has the absolute, hands down, best office staff of any doctor that I have ever been to. I can not say enough good things about each and every one of them. I travel about three hours distance for my appointments pertaining to my surgery, so I am not familiar with the Denver area......I had an appointment with the cardiologist after seeing Dr. Snyder, and was not sure how to get to her office.....Dr. Snyder's front desk clerk took the time to walk me over to the appointment so that I was on time and not wandering around trying to find where I needed to be. I have NEVER been treated so wonderfully at a physicians office. I must also say a work or two about Miss Dolly....I needed to change my surgery date due to a tragedy that our family suffered....not only did she take care of everything that needed to be done concerning the rescheduling....she took the time on several occasions just to check in and see how I and my family were doing. WOW....I have had a totally awesome experience with these truely dedicated and caring folks.
From the beginning, I had confidence in Dr. Snyder. He was straightforward and dynamic. He has put together a team that is outstanding in patient care. He follows up on pages as soon as humanly possible. It seems he keeps a file on his patients in his head. He listens and advises. You know he is busy, but his responses are thoughtful and on target.
He is an outstanding surgeon and physician.
He was fabulous - very self confident and full of energy. He's a Harvard trained doctor and has spent much time with the best laproscropic surgeons in the United States to perfect his technique. My surgery went well and when I had a severe migraine headache while in the hospital, Dr. Snyder made it disappear. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is a GREAT surgeon.
Office staff is good, especially Dolly who helped get my insurance to approve the surgery.
They have lots of aftercare available to include followup appts, nutrition classes, support groups, etc.
Dr. Snyder throughly addressed the risks of surgery.
I'd rate him a 10.
