Excellent surgeon, fantastic bedside manner with an encouraging attitude. No question stupid or ignored. He gives good advice, and lots of encouragement. Encourages healthy food choices that are easy to do, plus recipes! His office staff is excellent, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I had a small GIST tumor removed during surgery, without any adverse effects. It's gone, done! I cannot say enough good things about him or his staff.

Dr. Weiner is Absolutely Amazing. He is so caring, and really listens to your concerns, he NEVER makes you feel rushed and he takes the time to make you feel at ease, and to assure that you understand exactly what to expect, which makes you feel as if you're important ~ not just another patient. It's obvious that he really cares about his patients, and wants to help us to reach the best possible outcome! He immediately made me feel at ease, and after speaking with him ~ I was not at all nervous about the surgery. He treats each patient like a person, not a paycheck. He has a great sense of humor and as an added bonus he is Extremely Handsome :) . I can't say enough wonderful things about him and his Staff (Who are all so friendly and helpful as well as professional-Thanks so much Carol/Michelle and all the other ladies-you are the Best). I owe you all my new and improved life! I'll NEVER forget what you've done for me.

When first looking into getting WLS, the surgeons were unlimited and I didn't know who to call first. I had a gut instinct that Dr. Weiner was the right surgeon for me, and I'm so happy I called his office. They were very informative and I felt comfortable right away with him.

He has been crucial in my lapband success and offers tremedous support. He has truly saved my life and I am so thankful each and every day! He is knowledgeable not only with the surgeries but with nutrition and exercise as well.

Lastly someone else mentioned too that he's very good looking, so having to go see him once a month is definitely not a bad thing. :)

Dr. Weiner is awesome

He is well educated and an educator himself. He looks to be around late 30's early 40's but he has a ton of these surgerys under his belt. He listens to you and his staff is very helpful as well. I also heard he's a perfectionist, if you're having surgery that's what YOU would want! Last but not least, he's HOT!! LOL

He was so great! He made me feel at ease and visited me before the surgery, after, and the morning after, which I think is pretty great. I have had no complications and he was really experienced when doing my first fill. I would recommend him to anyone!

Good service and time from surgeon and hospital. Would have like a bit more time in follow-up after (like maybe a phone call at home to see how I am doing instead of waiting for me to make the follow-up exam call). All details were covered very well prior to surgery - I would rate him a 7 or 8.

He's Awesome! That's about all I can say right now.

My experience with Dr. Weiner has been a very positive one. He has been very informative and answered all of my questions. His office coordinator is Jackie. She is another reason why I chose to go to Harper Hospital in Detroit. She is very pleasant, funny and even offered her cell phone number if I needed to call with any questions any time of the day or night. Their office is very busy with several other Doctors practicing there, so arrive to your appointment early if you want to get a seat! rn

When I first met Dr. Weiner, I was at the end of my rope (so to speak). I had been having MANY problems with my previous weight loss surgery, a JeJunal Ileal Bypass. When I first met him at the office and he walked into the room, he listened very patiently to my whole (long) story. He did not try to hurry me through the appointment but truly "listened" to me. I got the feeling that he was going to do his very best to make me feel better.
My husband who works in the health care field was able to help me do some research on Dr. Weiner, all the comments that we got back very positive regarding his surgical talent and his meticulous attention to detail in his surgical technique.
Before and after my surgery he has always been very kind, extremely knowledgeable and thorough, a true professional in every sense of the word. He is very open, honest, and shows a true concern for the welfare of his patients in everything he does.
I told him at my two year check up that I felt he had given me back my life. I went from a person that was so ill every night I could not play with my young son. To a person that has endless energy for bike rides, baseball and so much more....

Dr. Weiner was awesome. The staff told me he was a perfectionist, and he is. I loved his bedside manner and he never made me feel rushed. Answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. He also does fills for patients that may have had the surgery outside of the country, something to consider if you are near Detroit. He's cheaper than anybody else that does fills, and he's a fantastic doctor. Another thing I love....when I call to get a fill appointment, they are SO nice and I get RIGHT in, within the week. I've even made appointments on Thursday afternoon for a fill the following Monday. He is completely understanding of the need for proper restriction for weight loss and never jacks me around on fills. He listens to me when I talk, and answers my questions. I never feel like he's in a hurry or rushing.
