Mario Morales Bariatric Surgeon MD

Dr. Morales is excellent! He is great at explaining every detail of the surgery and has great staff on hand to help you every step of the way! They are all greatly trained and know very well what you need to do to be successful.. I highly recommend this physician and his team at DePaul Hospital!

I loved the surgeon I chose Mario Morales! All of the preop stuff/appointments that had to be done for insurance approval went smoothly! He has a great office staff to work with. But in general him as a surgeon and person he is - he was such a great choice...He cares and takes time with you and discusses progress plus things to do. Beside manner is awesome!! He did wonderful on my surgery my incisions are healing great they look good actually for the ones that dermaseal has fell off - they look amazing! I can't thank him and his staff enough for the great care they have given me through this whole life changing process.

Dr. Morales is a caring professional who is very easy to talk to. He does a great job answering any questions and explaining the procedure. His office staff is great and submitted to insurance quickly and called to set up my date as soon as they heard back from the insurance company. I called several times preop with questions for the nurses and always got an answer quickly. Preop teaching was very thorough and we were given a very precise list of what to eat when and lots of help with what to expect postop. The is also a great support group held at the hospital which was a help even preop and the people there were very friendly. I have been more than pleased with both Dr. Morales and with all his staff.

Dr Morales is so professional, and yet also caring and concerned at the same time. I trust him, and would recommend him to anyone. He and his associate, both followed up on me in the hospital. My 1 wk office visit was very nice also. I also enjoy his office staff.

Dr. Morales is a wonderful caring DR. he discusses all options with you, but lets you decided. From the first time I met him I knew he was going to be my DR. Even my husband was impressed with him. His office staff is great. I can ALWAYS get ahold of a nurse or the NUT if I have a question. His pre-op staff is great also. His aftercare is structured, he addressed all risks of surgery with both myself and my husband. He ket my husband very informed as to why my surgery took longer than stated (I had a hiatial hernia and he repaired it) I only have 3 little scars. I feel like the program is very informative and supportive. The only thing I (and several other patients) were not informed of was after your one week follow-up you seen the Nurse practioner. I ws not aware of this, but she is amazing and goes over everything at each visit. I have been very happt thus far with my experience with all of the staff @ Dr. Moralas' office. I have reccomended him to several people and I trust him. I have been in the medical field for over 16 years now and I found dr. Moralas to have great bedside manner and surgical compentence. De Paul takes great steps prior to surgery to reduce the risk of in-house/surgical site infections. My only regret is not doing it sooner. He gave me the tool to live again.
