My first impression of Dr.Stegemann was very good. He came in and sat down to chat with me a little before doing a physical exam. He made it a point to make me feel at ease as he did his exam. After my physical exam he discussed my options, the pros and cons of surgery and showed me a diagram of the actual procedure. He was very professional, made sure to go over every detail making sure I understood what he would be doing.
His office staff was excellent, there was little wait once I arrived, everyone was friendly. I was given a test over the procedure to make sure I am aware of the procedure and what the postop lifestyle consists of. I was given the business card of everyone in the office incase I had questions once I went home from my consult. I was given literature to read over once I got home.
I would recommend Dr.Stegemann to anyone, there is excellent preop and postop care. The doctors in this surgical group make sure their patients are very well educated about the surgery both preop and postop before they will consider performing surgery on their patients. They have an inperson support group that the surgeons sponsor each month as well as postop patients who have made themselves available to both preop and postop patients.
The only problem I have had with this surgical group has been that they are so popular it took me 19 months to get into their seminar which they require before they will see a paitent.
