John C. Mobley Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

So far He has been the best Dr. I've had. He leaves no stone unturned and I thank him for that . I've lost 35 lbs. so far and if I had it to do again I would , and would chose dr. mobley and his staff again and again. I rate them a 10 all the way!!!!!!! I recommend them to everyone.

I was scheduled to have surgery with another doctor. I sent some emails over a weekend to various offices. Only one emailed me back, Dr. Mobley's office. I live in Columbus so was surprised that the next evening was an informational seminar and it was practically in my backyard! We went and were utterly amazed. We have seen probably 8-10 WLS surgeons. This is the first time my husband said that he would pay the entire cost even if for some reason my approved insurance backed out. rnrnThe best WLS surgeon is one that truly knows what you are going through and who will not judge you if you fall off track. Dr. Mobley wants to see you even if you do and he will not criticize you but will work with you to make your WLS a success. rnrnHis staff are phenomenal, caring people. This was totally night and day from my RNY in 2002. I DON'T CARE WHERE YOU LIVE. YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO FIND A SURGEON JUST LIKE. DR. MOBLEY. But please don't call him until I get my lapband date - grin!!! I don't want you getting my surgery date!

I have decided on a new surgeon. I am so excited about going to Synchrony. The surgeon is banded and so self confident.rnI am more excited than ever!

I love the fact that nearly everyone at Cincinnati Weight Loss Center is banded, even Dr. Mobley. The staff knows what you are going through because they have been there themselves. I am always inspired when I meet with them.rnrnI feel Dr. Mobley isn't just a doctor who decided to specialize in bariatrics - he is a formerly overweight person who wants to help people overcome their weight issues and is able to do that with his medical expertise. When you are on the other side of a doctor's desk, that makes a HUGE difference. rnrnI am also very appreciative of their CWLC's aftercare. I am always able to get in quickly when I need a fill and my support group is great. They even have evenings where patients can sign up to go out to eat with he and his wife (also banded) to socialize and learn from each other. I thought that was just great. Not too many doctors willing to give up one of their evenings for patients.rnrnThere were a lot of doctors closer to me but after meeting Dr. Mobley and his staff and understanding their commitment to the Lap Band, I knew this is where I needed to be.

Dr. Mobley is the best. His staff is wonderful too!
