Jay Kiessling Bariatric Surgeon D.O.

I'm not sure what to think about Dr Kiessling. He was very nice and informative but rushed through my appointment and I do understand that he very very busy.

He was very very honest about the risks involved with WLS and explained the surgery in depth.

Hopefully I will get to know him better before surgery if I do get an approval from BC/BS.

I first seen Dr. Kiessling in the ER he was great.When I went in for a check up the ladies in his office where very nice to me. Even though it's sometimes hard to get into see him because he is such a busy man. So I had to see the other Dr in his office Dr. Shipley for follow up check ups on my gall stones but will be seeing Dr. Kiessling as soon as I can for a eval for WLS. Can't wait .Oh yeah the people in his office are really prompt at sending out the information needed from Dr. Kiessling and what he requires from you for WLS.I met again with Dr. Kiessling on 12/11/03 and he was as nice if not nicer then the first time I met with him.He is gonna do his best with helping me with getting this surgery getting me approved as fast as he can.Sent my information into my new insurance company February 2nd and recieved news on the 12 that I was approved for surgery . Surgery was then schedualed that day by Rhonda Dr.Kiesslings nurse for March 2nd . They are so wonderful :).
