Jamie Loggins Bariatric Surgeon M.D.
I love how Dr Loggins team works so well together like a well oiled machine. He was very blunt but at the same time seemed to really care about his patients. Robin is a gem so happy and down to earth Corrine and Crystal are both very well informed and can answer any questions without searching for answers. Pam is so nice and easy to talk to. I believe they do everything in their power to prepare their patients for what will be facing them. They consider you a patient for life.. Dr Loggins is very detailed is all he does. I like that
I saw his picture in the local paper advertising a informational meeting. Liked his face, what can I say. So, I went, sweating, short of breath, couldn't go in, walked around, then wnet in....hey, wasn't the biggest girl there, phew.rnHe was informative, abit cool, but warmed up, was so proud of his program and staff, and just made me feel like if he felt that way about them, how does he feel about his patients.rn Everything was explained at length and throughly, with a 40 minute video that went through all the stages with real people, and then Dr, Loggins had invited 2 graduates to be available, and also, wheich I foulnd interesting, a plastic surgeon to speak about the afternath of drastic weight loss. They were not dodging any subject and I was impressed. But I have to say, the plastic surgeon did not make it sound great, even repairs.Disfiguring scars came up , alot!rnCalled my PCP the next day and asked for a referral. Hasn't been done yet, but Monday, then I don't know how quickly they respond...so, here I go.rnrnI met with the team yesterday, haven't met the nutritionist, yet, but to a person, they were so supportive and informed. Wow.rn
My first impression of Dr. Loggins was that he seemed to be very caring about his patients.rnMy impression of him was correct and has been more firmly validated.rnHis office staff has definitely been chosen with care as each member shares in the same goals and the same philosophy.rnI have yet to find anything I dislike.rnFuture patients should know that he is very complete in his workup of your case and is committed to following through with your care before, during and after the surgery.rnThere is an entire \"program\" in place for you once you begin your journey with him and his staff. This includes but is not limited to a booklet put together to take you through the different stages of the journey and beyond. There are also pre and post-op meeting that one can attend and have any and all questions answered.rnThe risks of surgery were very well laid out at the informative meeting that is held frequently.rnI would rate Dr. Loggins very high on my list as his surgical competence and his bedside manner were high above my expectations
Dr Loggins is very strict with his patients and so is the rest of his staff, and I think that is a good thing. rnrnThe staff is great and friendly and so helpful that it is amazing. They leave nothing to chance. rnrnAt this point I would recommend Dr Loggins to everyone. It may have been out of my way to travel, but over all I feel I got way more done for me then most of my friends that have had the surgery, I KNOW I was given a ton of information that I am now sharing with friends that had the surgery with different doctors because I was given receipts and exact day by day information for foods after the surgery. rnrnThe nutritionist Corrine is a slave driver (love you Corrine) but had she not been, I dont think I would have worked as hard as I did or doing as well as I am. rnrnThis place is the bomb at least go to a seminar to see the difference. More work, but well worth it.
