Dr. Harris and his staff are wonderful- I could not have asked for a better team!! The information given is very thourogh and everyone answered any and all questions that I had. I just had my surgery yesterday, and am excited about the future, and I believe that Dr. Harris is the best Dr. for this surgery in our area!!

I am seeing Dr James Harris in Wilmington,myrnfirst impression of him was he knows what he is doing and I feel very pleased with himrndoing my surgery.His staff is great and everybody are there for you and they will dornwhat it takes to help you with what ever your needs are.He has a great overall care rnplan for you before and after surgery.Hernhas helped me so much and his staff Sara andrnthe rest of his staff are great too. Dr. Harris has a wonderful staff especially Sara who was my first contact when obtaining information and setting up my first apointment. She took care of everything!! My first appointment with Dr. Harris was very good, talked about my medical history and then stayed for a group meeting with him. At the group meeting he went over the pros and cons of lab-band and gastric bypass and all the details of both. Most in the room had already decided which surgery they wanted. Very informative and well organized.

I met Dr. Harris and his staff and immediately knew I made the right choice. They are the friendliest bunch I ever met. They hand you a packet and it spells everything out for you in order. Thats it for now will update again.

Dr. Harris is awesome. He is so sweet and personal. I was sorta taken back the first time I met him. He really seemed to care about why I wanted to lose weight and didn't make me feel bad about wanted to date again. rnrnrnHe is a great surgeon and cares about his patients health and well being.

Dr. Harris impressed me immediately. He is no nonsense, but has a good bed side manner. His staff is terrific, and everyone was very helpful to get my insurance to cover the surgery. The aftercare has been great, and his PA Meredith leads our support group. Feels like a family at this office.rnI have had no complications and feel Dr. Harris is very competent. I would recommend him and this surgery to anyone, it has saved my life.

Dr Harris was sharp and on his game. I recommend his office to any one in the Wilmington NC area. The staff was awesome. The information that was i received was top notch and always up to date. Things went to well for me my older sister had the same procedure done 14 months later. Bedside manner was awesome. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was very happy with my first visit with Dr. Harris. I was so nervous! His staff was very nice and tried their best to calm my nerves. He did want me to go with the RNY at first but once I explained all of my reasons for wanting Lap Band instead he supported my choice.

I have had a positive experience with Dr Harris and his office staff. The doctor spoke to me alone on my first office visit and once he determined that I was a candidate for surgery I joined him and other patients interested in wls for a class discussion. During class he discussed the different types of surgery and the risk, benefits, pros and cons of each. rn They all have a great bedside/office manner and responds to my calls in a timely manner. I have only had one postop appt and I will return in 6 wks for my first fill then go from there.
