I Was very impressed with Dr. Hans Schmidt. His comfort level spoke for itself He was extremely knowlegable and very professional. I was very comfortable with him. Being a nurse and seeing so many different kinds of physicans. He stood out, and to me that was very important. I have spoken to other patients who have told me how talented he was.
My doctor Is Hans Schmidt, MD in Hackensack, NJ. Not only was he very professional, educational, and caring but his manner put me immediatley at ease. He explained everyting in detailed even showing me a diagram and drawing out the total procedure for me. He was very patient answering my list of questions! Which were quite a few. I am very happy with my choice. The office staff is very helpful pleasant. I have only gone for one consult so far and have a surgery date of Sept. 12. I will keep you all updated.
August 11 th, 2000- I had surgery on the first of this month. I am recouperating now and am happy I went through with it so wuickly. A surgery date opened up sooner then I excpected and I greabbed it. I insurance approved me within 24 hours and I faxed them all the information they needed to get my approval. If anyone needs copies of letters I used or information PLEASE feel free to contact me. They insurance company said they approved me so wuickly because I left NOTHING out and ad ALL information right there for them.
My visit with Dr. Schmidt was very informative. He talked to me for about a hour, answering all of my questions -- before I had even asked him.
I am looking forward to getting my life back, and Dr. Schmidt and my primary physician are responsible for that. His staff- nice, efficient, and professional. (more later)
Dr. Schmidt is a young man with numerous credentials and certifications on his wall. I found him to be very friendly and complete in his explanation of the procedure and the risks. He was running late for my appointment but he was very apologetic and made sure I was totally understanding of all aspects of the procedures before I left the office. He is very experienced and board certified in advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures. I will update more as I go along with him. Based on my experience so far, I would have no problem recommending him.
