Very straightforward guy. Made me laugh at the seminar and I felt relaxed. I went to a previous seminar where I almost felt judged by the surgeon. Dr. Mueller doesn't give you that feeling at all. His office is very streamlined. As long as you follow their directions everything will be taken care of. All appoinments and tests will be scheduled by them.rnrnWow. My surgery went great. I fully trusted Dr. Mueller and he did a great job. Was very reassuring and all my friends says his incisions look great lol.

My first impression of Dr. Mueller was that I didn't understand (he talks a little fast) but after meeting with him and spending a little time with him I realized that he is very nice and he has a great sense of humor.rnrnHis staff is wonderful. They come prepared with all of the information that you need when you need it. I found that they worked diligently on my behalf to get me approved. rnrnTheir aftercare program is also very good. They attend to your needs before surgery so that after surgery, if you have followed the instructions and read the documentation, you are prepared. They visited me in the hospital and followed up once I was released with telephone calls.rnrnDr. Mueller and his staff are AWESOME.

I first fell in love with his great support staff! Then I met Dr. Mueller and realized why he had such great people around him. He is very personable and easy to speak with. He is very clear about his expectation for his patients. I would have liked more info on the following steps from him and possibly an acknowledgment of him doing the surgery. rnHe has a strong belief that the success relies on the after care program and the patients' committment . rnI know that he has been doing lap band for a little over a year and that obviously caused some concern. Knowing that he has been doing RNY for over 10 years with 99% of his procedures being laproscopic made me feel a lot more comfortable.

My first impression of him was very positive. He was very personable and seemed to care. Was very straight-forward. That impression increased to even more caring and a great support team. rnrnOffice staff also cared and seemed to be truely interested in having everyone succeed with the program and provide means to do that through calling, support groups, exercise group requirement, follow-up callbacks.rnrnSharp Memorial Hospital, San Diego nurses all spoke highly of both him and his staff and stated several times that they loved his patients.rnrnHe emphasized over and over that this is a tool but provides the support to make the tool work for each patient.rn

I really like Dr. Mueller. I felt his confidence during the initial seminar. He took time to answer all question slowly and in a manner that wasn't overly clinical so that we all understood. He spoke of the good, the bad, and all the work that would be required of us as well.rnrnWhen I was at the hospital my decision for using Dr. Mueller was solidified when every nurse in my room, pre-op room, operating room, everywhere told me how wonderful he was and the best that they worked with. So as I layed on the operating table waiting for the drugs to kick in I was at piece with my choice.rnrnHis office staff is great, especially Naomi. She had to take on my case as well as a number of others mid-stream and took care of everything for me.rnrnThe only thing I was surprised with is during the pre-op meeting there was a $300 fee that wasn't previously mentioned at the initial information seminar or in my packet of information.
