The previous comments are 5 years old. This had to be rudest, most condensending physician I have ever met. Even if you don't agree, we are still a human being. We are there because we have something wrong, someone sent us to him. We didn't sign up to come , be humiliated and spoken rude and condensing to in front of staff. Almost humorous to them. A feeling of complete embarrassment.... I would go to someone else if you prefer a doctor with a humane bedside manner. Truth.

My husband had a gastric bypass in July 09 with Dr Lynch. We ended up in Nashville from Knoxville due to an insurance requirement. We were really bummed about that becasue the hubby had already chose a DR closer to home. Well we were surprised, we loved Dr Lynch and his whole staff. This past July, I went back to him for a VSG. We have been veyr happy with him and his staff. He is very straight forward and down to earth.

Dr Lynch performed a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy on me June 7, 2010. As for the quality of care I received i could not have asked for any better. Dr. Lynch was great, caring, he listened to what I was looking for, and what I needed & help me make the right decision for my life. It has been an Awesome journey that I would recommend to Anyone. When I came to Dr Lynch at my heaviest weight I was 275 and now I weigh 148 and I have a totally different life. I met my goal of 150 in 1 year 1 month 2weeks 1 day. I am now in the maintain process. I Thank God for sending Dr. Lynch into my life.

So far, I really like Dr. Lynch but I've only met him twice. He is very honest and takes into account your history, medications, and suggestions when he is deciding what surgery type you should have. He is open about the fact that he is more biased towards RNY but is not opposed to doing a lap band if that's what is best for the patient. I'll keep updating as I get to know him better.

I received the LabBand from Dr. George Lynch on September 10, 2008. He is a very straightforward doctor. As far as the surgery went, I don't think I could praise him more. My incisions don't hurt and I think he has a lot to do with that. I did have some nausea that kept me hospitalized but I really don't think he could have done anything to stop it. He really impressed me when he stopped in the hospital to visit me on his way to a football game. It showed that he really cared. I am glad that I made the right choice. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have only met Dr. Lynch one time and that was on my visit to schedule my surgery date. I was very apprehensive when I met him because I had no idea what type of personality he would have. Turns out...I loved him. He was very caring and understanding. I had about 30 questions and he was willing to answer ALL of them without me feeling rushed. rnI will update more after my surgery.

I get the impression that Dr. Lynch is very good at what he does and is very smart. I had confidence that he could do my surgery in his sleep. He doesn't engage you in long conversations and my interactions with him have all been really fast, but that's my experience with most surgeons/specialists. Besides, there are plenty other people at the Baptist clinic to answer all your questions.
