5/4/04 - The most important thing he has taught me thusfar, that surgery is a TOOL and we as individuals drive the results via our commitment.
Dr. Wilcox is a very friendly person, he is just as concerned with your questions and needs verse just being there to do cookie cutter surgery.
The staff at Pittsburgh Bariatrics is friendly and committed to you for as long as you need them. The aftercare program they have developed is top notch.
My first impression of Dr. Wilcox was very good. I met him at a seminar for WLS. I had several questions and he answered each question with sensitivty and compassion. I met his staff that same evening. I had already completed the start up process for surgery and all I needed was a surgery date. Dr Wilcox and his staff went over everything that I needed to know about what was going to happen once I had surgery.
The aftercare has been good so far. I have had no complications. When I do have questions the staff has answered them immediately. I would and have recommended Dr Wilcox and the entire Pittsburgh Bariatric Staff.
