My first impression of Dr. Fox is he genuinely cares and has tremendous passion for what he does and why he does it. He is honest with his patients and tells us how it is. I had my surgery 2/13/2009 and struggled with the “life” change I was up against after. Dr. Fox assured me I was feeling completely normal and took the time to discuss my concerns with me and never once dictated to me as most physicians will. He has taught me a lot about the value of life and the impact this change will have. I have learned a great deal from his compassion and greatly admire his generosity and contribution as a professional. I also love his staff and feel an immense amount of calmness and relief once I step foot in his office! I strongly recommend Dr. Fox and his staff for your journey as it is important to have a knowledgeable team on your side through this venture. I certainly am pleased to say I have the best players on my team!!!!!rnrn

I would refer anyone truly serious about their weightloss to Dr. Fox. He's strick about his rules, has a really tough pre-diet as well as a regimented post diet for the first 12 weeks, and makes you sign a contract for after surgery about what you have agreed to give up for life.....but he also gave me the overall feeling that he truly cared about me, my success and my overall wellbeing. When making a decision of this magnatude, I found that very comforting. I am pleased with the before care, training and explanations I was given with great patience and understanding. My time in the hospital, both immediately before surgery and after in recovery didn't feel rushed, but instead like I was his only patient that day (even though there were 4 of us). And since surgery, with my phone calls, questions, and of course the start of my fills; he continues to care about me. He encourages the good (with great enthusiasm), empathizes and softly scolds the bad and truly makes you feel he's there right beside you on your journey. I know that I will be successful in my wls journey, not just because of me, but because I have a great support system with my Dr and his staff!

My first impression of Dr. Fox was that he was a quiet spolen man. He was and has always been very friendly and open. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Fox is very clear and adiment on his pre-op and post op follow up. He was also very clear about the risks involved with the surgery, but, be he also made it very clear how you as a patient are involved to keep the risks as low as possible. While waiting for the surgery on the day of, he was very calming and up beat about the journey I was about to take. His post op care has been great. He has encouraged my children to be there and takes his time to explaine what is happening. He has been wonderful to work with thus far.rnrnJay

I got a real good feeling about Dr. Fox. When I first meet him I could tell that he cared about the well being of his patients and that he would be there for the long haul. Dr. Fox is excellent, he has a super bed side manner, he truly wants to listen to what you have to say or what you are going through, and he is there for you as a Doctor and a friend. Dr. Fox is up front about what you are going to be going through and that you HAVE to have after care forever. There is nothing I can say bad about this doctor, I have had alot of Doctor's in my time and there is only 1 other Doctor that is equal to this man. As for Rating him, 99.9%- There is no better man for this life altering surgery. All around, you have a very knowledgeable Doctor and staff, Caring Doctor and staff, and a Doctor that wants to be doing what he loves. As I think back over the past year and a half of knowing Dr Fox I really can't think of anything that I don't like about him. He has given me advice about my 12yr old boy that is having some problems, and always has good advice with all my problems. If you are struggling it is so easy to just tell him the truth and he lets you know its okay, and how to get through it. Every time I have called with a question or concern Dr always calls me back and listens and gives me his best. Love him and recommend him to Everyone!!

First Impression: Can he really be this nice? Yes he really is that nice.rnrnHis office staff are friendly, caring, and helpful. It should be noted that he has moved to the Tri-Cities on the east side of Washington State.rnrnHe strongly believes that the aftercare is as if not more important than getting the surgery itself. There is a structured aftercare program and he gives you a binder with all the information you will need to take care of yourself for both pre and post surgery.rnrnDr. Fox conducts seminar's each month. He explains in detail all about the procedure, aftercare, you diet, his statistics as a surgeon and all risks associated with Bariatric Surgery as well as the health risks of remaining morbidly obese.rnrnI was well treated, they remember my name, the hospital was ready for me, they definitely have it figured out and I have no complaints.

Dr. Fox and his staff at SWLC (Surgical Weight Loss Clinic) are a spectacular group of professionals. Not only are they professional they are understanding, helpful, and knowledgeable people. rnDr. Fox always has time for me during my appointments. He makes me feel that I am most important, he asks me questions, listens to my answers as well as answers the questions and concerns that I might have. I never feel like he is in a hurry to get to the next patient. Dr. Fox and his staff are very compassionate and understanding. They are truly my second family.rnFuture patients should know that the structure of the after care program will allow Dr. Fox to be apart of your life for the rest of your life.rnWhat I like most about Dr. Fox and SWLC is that right from the start all of the potential patients attend a 4 hour class. In this class they explain the risks; they explain what it is going to be like during the different stages of weight loss and what you can expect, they explain costs, aftercare, they also have LAP band patients there to tell their success story. rn The best LAP band surgeon is right here in Washington. They just don’t get any better than Dr. Fox and the Surgical Weight Loss Clinic.rn
