Dr. Stefanidis was beyond a blessing to me!! He gave me the tool I needed to push forward and do the things I needed to do to stay healthy and in turn that has made me happy!! He is very straight forward and knowledgeable regarding the Bariatric Journey I was on. His smile and humor allowed me to trust him and feel comfortable with him. He never once judged me or treated me as if I was a failure at this weight loss task. He did more than just operate on this obese person, he gave me courage to push through and do this miraculous thing for myself!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!

Dr Stefanidis was haven sent.This was my first surgey ever and I asked god on that sunday 3 days before my surgery to lead me in the right path. That night I got a call from the doctors office saying the doctor that was suppose to do my surgery got sick and was in the hospital. I was given the choice to wait for him to get better or have surgery that very next morning with Dr Stefanidis. Thank you God for sending him to me.

Dr. Dimitrios Stefanidis is a very good Dr, I really admire his compassion for people as well as him being a expert in his field.

I began this process in July 2009 and my surgery was February 15, 2010. I went to an information session after a friend at church had the surgery done. When I met Dr. Stephinidis I loved his personality! He was very informative and jovial! I have been very impressed with Dr. Stephinidis the enitre time I have been under his care. The office staff are friendly and warm most of the time! (Heck we are all human and have a bad day from time to time). I love the fact that his office is pretty much all inclusive. Everything you need to have done you can have done under one roof! Dr. Stephinidis is quick!! You need to have your visit planned out with him. He will ask you questions and he wants to know your answers but he doesn't "hang out" with you. It is an in and out visit! So make sure you have all your questions prepared or ready for him. Dr. Stephanidis and the office rely heavily on aftercare! They create a team with you, your general physican, and his office. These folks are the ones who will get you through the years after surgery. He of course went over the risks and let me know what his statistics were. He made me feel very comfortable with my decision. I would rate Dr. Stephinidis an A+ (90-95%). He is a caring, qualified, and skilled physician! I don't think you can get any better than him! Dr. Stephinidis has a great bedside manner and is HIGHLY skilled. I can't imagine choosing another surgeon!

I first met Dr. Stefanidis at an information session about weightloss surgery. My first inpression of him was this guy is humorous.I was very apprehensive about the procedure at first, but as time went on and the more I got to know Dr. Stefanidas, the more at ease I became.His extensive knowledge about the procedure was more than I had expected. This along with the amazing staff at his office, the Carolinas Weight Management & Wellness Center gave me the confidence to go ahead with the surgery.
