My first impression of Dr. Jean-Batptiste was a man knowledgeable about his profession and I was very comfortable with him. As we progressed he was very informative of the procedure, steps involved. I came a bit anxious, but within minutes the anxiety was gone. I was impressed at the time spent to give me all the information about the surgery, what to expect, pre-op process and post op. Very willing to answer all my questions. Emphasizing personal care. This tells me that this center is concerned about the patients and the care and not the numbers that come through. Is surgical competence better than bedside, I have to say yes, however, they go hand in hand.

I absolutely love my experience. I reviewed with the doctor my experiences and knowledge base. He gave me additional information discussed the benefits, concerns and outcomes of all phases to the bariatric surgery.

What I loved the most, was the pre, during and post surgery guidance and involvement of all the staff at my disposal.

I just can not wait!

TODAY WAS MY FIRST VISIT SINCE I HAD MY SURGERY NEARLY 2 WEEKS AGO. I MET WITH DR. BAPTISTE. HE SAYS THAT MY INCISIONS ARE HEALING WELL. I HAVE LOST NEARLY 8 LBS. SINCE MY SURGERY. DR. BAPTISTE HAS TOLD ME THAT I CAN START SOLID FOODS BY THE END OF THIS WEEK. SO FAR MY EXPERIENCE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS WITH THIS PROGRAM AND STAFF HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. MY NEXT OFFICE VISIT WILL BE IN 2 WEEKS. AT THAT TIME I WILL PROBABLY GET MY FIRST ADJUSTMENT TO MY LAP BAND. I'M HAPPY THAT I HAVE HAD THIS SURGERY.

My first visit to the surgeon's office was great! I recieved lot's of information and had all my questions anwsered.
I think coming today was a wise decision and that my life will be heading in a positive direction.
The office staff was very friendly and helpful.
I would higher recommend this office to anyone.
They explained in great detail the risks that could occur with surgery so that I would fully understand.
I would have to rate today's visit as 100%.

Hey Everyone! I finally made the decision to have the bypass surgery! Im very excited now that i have been to Dr. Baptiste, and im am confident that i will be thinner and healthier by this time next year. I am sure i made the right choice when i chose this office, the staff was very nice and the doctor made me feel at ease, all my questions were answered and I would definitly tell everyone what a nice doctor he is! I am glad that i chose Dr Jean- Baptiste to help me start my new life!

I met with Mr. Jean-Baptiste on 10/18/05. I found him to be very informative about both the gastric bypass and lapband surgery. Mr. Jean-Baptiste was patient and answered all of my questions in a very thorough and kind manner. He was very sensitive to my needs. Not only was Mr. Jean-Baptiste very professional, his staff also responded in a very mannerable and professional fashion. I am really looking forward to working with this team and very excited about loosing weight.

My first impression of the surgeon is good. He answered all my questions and provided a lot of information. The office staff is sluggish and I waited more than 50 minutes to be seen, but the appointment itself was a strong point.
