David Oliak Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

My Insurance referred me to this Dr. I did some checking and he does have some experience with surgeries. I'm not yet scheduled to meet him. Waiting for his office to call me back with the details. Since he is in SoCal, it will take a bit of planning to get to the appointments. Someone told me I should try to get referred to someone closer.

Very smart and friendly. Everything went pretty much as he explained in his seminar. He works with a physician assistant, she is the one I have been working with. The entire office staff is caring and delightful. Truly a feeling of support and comfort, before and after surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Oliak from a friend and after doing lots of research, I found that he is the best in Orange County. I am so glad I decided to go with him. Not only has he been wonderful, but his staff has always been so nice and willing to answer any questions...and I had a alot of them! My surgery went more smoothly than I could have ever asked or hoped for. I had little to no pain and no complications...THANK YOU DR. OLIAK! By the way ladies...he is very easy on the eyes!!!!!!

Dr. Oliak's office staff proved to be very helpful and informative. Pre-Op I was very nervous and had a lot of questions and everytime I called (which was a lot) they were happy to help me and answer all my questions. Doctor Oliak is very straight forward and does not beat around the bush. He does not tell you what you want to hear, he tells you what is true. He came to check on me everyday in the hospital. His bed side manner is the same, very straight forward. I am 100% pleased with him and his office staff.

I have chosen Dr. David Oliak. I actually found him on the internet of all places. However, I soon found out that he is tops in this field. As a matter of fact I have been told by several people that he is the best in Orange County. I hope everyone is correct becasue I am counting on him to be the best.rnHis staff is friendly, Tina is always willing to talk to you and answer your questions. Dr. Oliak is a little dry but as long as he is a good surgeon that is all I care about.

My husband and I went to his seminar and really felt that Dr. Oliak was very confident and capable to do this surgery. His office is very competent. They handled my case very efficently. His program is very well designed, for both pre-op and post-op patients.

My frist impression of Dr. Oliak was that he was awesome and he knew what he was doing. Dr. Oliak did my sister's gastric bypass surgery a litte over a year before he did mine. My sister had no problems and she looked amazing. Dr.Oliak is really down to earth and you can always ask him anything. His office staff is great, now that he has his own practice. He still stresses aftercare even though I am nearly three years out of surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Oliak.

Dr. Oliak has a wonderful disposition and is very easy to talk to. His performance of my surgery was \"text book\" and he is the #2 Bariatric Surgeon here in CA. His staff has been wonderful to deal with. They stress support and have a great program.

July 2004 ~What can I say about Dr.Olika that has not been said? rnIn a nut shell he is WONDERFUL! He is kind, caring and compassionate. rn I paid for my surgery myself, and interviewed many Doctors in Orange County and Riverside County. Dr. Oliak was hands down the best! When I was post-op in the Hospital Dr. Olika visited everyday. He really makes you feel like you matter you are not just a numberrn. rnThe office staff at Coastal SUCKS!
